This was great valuable information thank you for sharing. I think you should do more repairs on more Aussie assembled cars because there is not much vids or information on them for us DIYers cheers buddy
True, nothing much for down under.. I'm focused on bringing content that hasn't been covered... I do have a few more videos planned for territory.. maybe over Christmas period..
Hi Jugaar - great video . what a total pain this operation is, would it be just easier to pull the motor ? Have you ever done the right (drivers side) EGR valve I need to do mine and there is no room.
I always prefer to work with motor inside the bay and it's quite safe but maybe its about perspective. Some people like it the other way around. The RH one is notorious for sure. Read a lot about it. I'm thinking of making a video for RH one in near future. This might take some time as i'm currently focused on another issue . But if you are doing it, my advice is to remove battery and fuse box to get better clearance.
@@RZJugaar thanks - agree it looks like battery and fuse box out. In a RangeRover vid's I saw one guy reach up the back of the cooler with a long Torx driver and disconnect the valve. Not sure there is room in the Territory
Hi Jugaar Great videos of turbo removal and test. I have the same issues with a 2.7 turbo. When you removed the turbo, did you replace it with another one, if not how did you overcome lack of turbo boost. Cheers, Andy
Hi. I have another video that discusses p023d and boost pressure. I'm pretty sure it'll help you understand your problem. My issue turned out to be a boost pressure sensor which is apparently a common failure item in these cars. I didn't replace my turbo
It's right on top of the charged air duct. Right in front of your eyes when you open the hood.. I've used it's image in thumbnail of this video: th-cam.com/video/j8NV1ilFDMo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=m2DbgPTMYBC4Wok_
The pcm is not reading the location of EGR flap correctly. If it's intermittent, check if connector is properly plugged in. If the code is active, your EGR needs replacement. The feedback mechanic is toasted
Yes I was able to figure out what the problem was. When I did this video, I had a bad left EGR valve and I was also chasing P023D. Not sure what you are facing.
Thank you brother love your work

How many hours do you recommend it would take to remove both left and right egr and replace with new ones.
Right hand (driver side) maybe 90 minutes. Left side maybe 3-4 hours..

Thanks for the prompt reply
Where is the turbo boost sensor

Hi Brother, I have P1335 - EGRPosition Sensor Minimum Stop performance. WHat could be the issue?

Thanks bro, Also on Dashboard, it shows DSC fault check engine.@@RZJugaar
That is normal. Everytime the car goes into limp mode, the the ABS module will throw a DSC fault. The root cause is EGR so nothing to worry about.
Hi Jugaar, thank you for the video. Did you manage to solve the problem, because I've got the same problem.
Cheers

Thank you so much for your reply, yes I have the PO23D error code.. what was it please?
P023D is a bit tough to track. probably a boost leak. I have a separate 20min video on P023D and P123A. Look it up.
