💭 Things I need to hear… Part #2
to really take the leap and move to Mexico City this year. We are always faced with one simple question, as poet Mary Oliver wrote: what do you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?
Like many young adults, I’ve spent way too much time worrying and making decisions in life based on the expectations put upon me (whether intentionally or not). This is a reminder that we only have ONE of these beautiful & precious things, one which should be lived fully and truthfully to ourselves and not the pressures of society, family, or anything else that tells us otherwise. It’s hard, yes, and takes courage for sure. But the feeling of really living is unlike any other, and will make you jump with joy again when it comes back.
