I have had a single Wise Owl hammock and decided to get a double one for the luxury of the extra fabric to cocoon me away from the occasional fly, etc. I am short and was having trouble figuring out how to get out of it. But just the few seconds of seeing how you lifted yourself from a sitting position was gold! Loved your entire video, but that little bit made my day. Thank you! I just retired and my hammock is going to get much use! Have a great day.

I spent 45 minutes finding trees to use for this! What is the distance between two trees ?? I am so sad! If I was alone I could have reached the Hammock to attach it. PLEASE HELP!
Ideally you want to find two trees between 12' to 15' apart. Make sure they're good solid safe trees. I prefer around the 12 foot apart.

So max weight it can hold is 500pounds I'm wondering cause I order a double hammock but it says the weight it can hold 400pounds. I weight around 320pounds. I ordered it cause I thought they all hold up the same weight.
Hector Vasquez It'll hold you just fine. There's 3 things you have to make sure what their weight limit is, the hammock itself, the tree straps and finally the device (carabener) that you'll be using to attach the hammock to the tree straps.
It was a great review video but It would've been nice to see the whole setup including the strap placement

Yes. I do fall sleep every now and then. I take a hammock every time I head into the woods or go to my camp to work on videos, I always hang the hammock and relax for a little while and I have fallen asleep a few times. It's just so freaking relaxing. It is possible to lay on your side in a hammock, you'll want a double hammock so it's as wide as possible and you sort of lay diagonal, instead of your feet and head in line with the ends of the hammock you place your feet off to one side of the hammock as well as your head. Doing this not only allows you be more flat but also allows you to lay on your side. It's not perfectly flat or completely on your side but it's as close as possible.

Steve R Of course. I have discussed my winter hiking boots in a few different videos but I haven't done review on just them or any of my other boots. Other than my Merrill winter hiking boots I pretty much just wear KEEN boots, shoes and sport sandals. I'll put something together soon.

Depends on what you constitutes what better means. The best way answer that is this... I have many hammocks, including, 2 eno hammocks, but I always grab any one of my 3 Wise Owl hammocks over the eno every time.
Are these the tree straps that come standard?
That is correct. The straps that come with the Featherweight hammock are lighter, shorter and thinner though. Both are very strong but personally I prefer these straps over the straps that come with the featherweight hammock.
