Hey man, didnt find any other social or mail of you, so I'll just put it in the comments, even tho thats kind of weird lmao
So basically I'm a video editor and been loving your videos, so I just wanted to ask if you're looking for a video editor!

Hi - i remember you commented on my Murakami video! Thanks for saying how you feel about my videos, I'm glad you're enjoying them!
I don't have any of my socials linked because I wanna keep myself private, do you mind if I send you a friend request on discord and we can talk more on there about this? My pfp is a red Saab 900 with a bunch of wires and a camera stuck on the hood/bonnet of the car

I fuck with the humor bro. Shit comes off naturally and not like youre trying too hard to appeal to snot nosed little shitheads like one guy, whose name starts with an s and ends in teveterreberry. This is important stuff for beginners to know, and while im not one, i always can appreciate this type of content. Youll always learn something new from this kinda thing.

@puddingitsimply can you do some content on the actual recording of music? Like I'm a decent guitarist and bassist, yada yada whatever bullshit, but I'm fuckin LOST on getting the little vibes I make from my brain to my fingers to the pickups and into a computer. I've got so many things I wanna accomplish musically, but I'm not sure what kinda audio interface I need, if I should get one that comes with software or buy separately, what kinda plug ins and amp Sims and effects and shit like that, y'know? So delving deeper into that would incredibly helpful. It's a goal of mine to at least play an instrument on a musical track that gets released on a major platform, like Spotify or whatever, if not release my own. But yeah the getting the vibes from the instruments to a computer is where I'm stuck, so any help would be greatly appreciated

@connorhart7597 funny enough, I'm actually stuck at that stage too 😭😭😭 in terms of gear and recording I've pretty much got a Gen X/Boomer guitarist set-up - I've never used an amp sim and I pretty much only use my audio interface for voice over on videos like this or for calls lmao. Again thanks I appreciate your support and also assuming that I know how to use an amp sim and record music in a modern way 😭😭😭 jk lol
I do know how to use and operate a couple of DAWs mainly FL studio and I know how to produce and mix beats and maybe now that you've made me think about it I could make a video on that...mayhaps...
But seriously though, getting comments like yours really encourages me to continue making videos in general. It warms my heart a lot so thank you again. I hope you're successful in your musical endeavours though!

@puddingitsimply so when recording instruments, do you mic an amp? If so, what's kinda the signal chain, or whatever you wanna call it?

@connorhart7597 full transparency i haven't recorded my guitars or instruments before, but yes if I was to, I would mic up my amp which would be connected to my audio interface into a DAW audio channel. Afterwards, I have no idea. I would probably add effects on the channel like reverb or distortion or what have you but again I have not tried this so I wouldn't know. Sorry if this wasn't the answer you were looking for
