Can't wait for the hobbyist lora satellite communication network.
The satellites could give each active grid square a portion of the bandwidth, or some other throttling scheme, so anyone can send and receive messages without anyone plugging up the network.
It could work well for off-grid text messages, in case of service outage or just for fun really.

I couldn’t get to set my esp8266 and esp32 running in my Arduino ide even after installing Python 2.7.3 and pyserial from adafruit. I have downloaded the drivers and installed the board in Arduino ide. The port is “com 28” and I think I used “nodemcu 1.0 module 12E” for esp8266 or there about! ( I am using CP2102 chip) The device manager shown that the hardware was properly installed and ready to use. If I try to open the serial monitor in Arduino it will never open, instead I will see “error com port 28 busy” If I upload code on the boards it pops out bunch of errors among which is “error opening serial port” or something like that.

RG-213 isn't great, sure, but while LMR-400 would cut the loss in half, it's also more expensive. For only a few feet, it's not worth upgrading (especially if you already have the 213). I'd upgrade if the antenna is used for transmitting, or receiving if it's longer than 25 feet, if you can afford it. Over 50 feet, RG-213 will hurt performance a lot at 440 MHz. Consider LMR-400 a minimum, and Heliax worth a look the closer you get to 100 feet.

TinyGS Lora sats is going a long time now, so nothing new here, simple enough for the basic experimenter to play with, but not complicated enough to be a challenge.

I have the same problem. New firmware, new version of Meshtastic app and no connection to MQTT. It seems to me that the lack of connection to the server is due to the lack of a network module in the T-Echo. Via bluetooth you connect the APP with the T-Echo, and there is still no connection because it is lora that is supposed to connect directly to the server without going through the app on your smartphone. That's how I understand it, please correct me if I'm wrong.
