I just bought a used 2021 SX Touring in Canada. By far… the best year. I do like the styling plus all the buttons (not everything on the touch screen). I like the non-pano sunroof. Fantastic gas mileage, etc. The only modification I made was to cover up the dash chrome with a Matt black vinyl wrap, bought from Amazon. Thanks for the great review.
Actually your wrong about the rear boot blind. It does fit in the boot. Lift the floor take the small clip in lids out on the ends, turn the blind back to front to that as when it’s fitted. And hey presto it fits.
@@ultragoldcoin8780I have the thermique version and it's really amazing , so comfortable and elegant, I drive 400km daily with a lot of pleasure honestly I have any deck pain or driving fatigue, only one inconvenient the trunk is too small if you have a family
@@bamboo59.52 what do you mean battery only? This is a hybrid, a hybrid combines at least one electric motor with a gasoline engine to move the car, and its system recaptures energy via regenerative braking. Sometimes the electric motor does all the work, sometimes it's the gas engine, and sometimes they work together. The result is less gasoline burned and, therefore, better fuel economy. Adding electric power can even boost performance in certain instances.
@@jamesf791 hi I had Prius and if you drive round town up to 30mph..t'll just use the electric only, no gasoline, but only for one mile then the engine kicks in as the batter runs out.The Kia will run on electric only as well round town at slow speed I'm wondering how far?
I don't think Kia make a bad car at the minute with all their models seemingly representing great value for money, whilst not scrimping on any quality. Another great review on a cracking little car! Looks like a extremely viable alternative to the Nissan Juke, Ford Puma or a VW T-Roc!
I have a test drive booked on the 11th of March looking forward to it,and the demonstrator which I will be driving should be available to purchase shortly.loved the review
@@tais7552 I was very impressed with the car I had it for the whole day while my Current car (A Kia Carens) was being serviced, but the trade in offer on a six month old Niro did not reach my expectations so I rejected the deal unfortunately
Not that I know how to change tires but I was a bit hesitant about lack of a spare tire but I was reassured of 5 or 6 years of roadside assistance, they will even come to my rescue incase I run out of gas 🙂. I bought one a month ago and this is the first car of many in the past that I have no buyers regret, I feel safe driving it maybe because it is "overly sensitive." Only one thing I would change about this car is that the noise while on reverse is extremely loud, can't sneak out of my driveway anymore.
A quick follow up, I really really really hate the noise in reverse, I now wish I haven't purchased this vehicle...If you know know of any info on reducing the noise please advise, thank you. The dealership has been less than hopeful.
Iff you remove a cap in the boot you can store the bootcover there nicely, so you dont have to trow it away :-) And Kia did think about it :-P From an other site: The slightly non-obvious bit is that there's a small flat plastic panel on the right that clips out to make room to hold the cover. Just pull it up. I think it's a really nice touch being able to store it.
I'm actually quite puzzled by this. What exactly do you mean by the plastic lid on the right hand side. Just bought a new niro (not the new model, but 2022) and I can't see what you mean. Probably being dense! Is there a video showing this anywhere?
We , live in Canada we have the 19 touring hybrid it's a great car we took off the 18 inch wheels and put on 16s . That was a big improvement. And the car came with a space-saver spare.
Purchased one for my wife today. 😁 Cannot wait for it to arrive. Very practical and eco friendly for her. I'm new customer to Kia. So, let's see how our relationship unfold. 🙂
The parcel shelf does have a place to store it if you looked under the part you lifted upon the boot there are gaps each side it fits in perfect not sure how you missed that ! They do have a space saver option its £199. you lost me at the boot shame.
I would love to own this car 😭 something I can not afford unfortunately. It would help my kids and I so much instead of having to walk and take the bus everywhere.
Very informative video. Today I took a look at a newly badged Niro and I must say I am suitably impressed. Just how noisy was the ride; I'm intrigued? Did you test drive at higher speeds? Subscribed.
@@AJThePlayerTH-camChannel Well I bought the 2022 newly badged HEV with the luxury pack top spec. In Spain we get a space saver wheel, but no sunroof. Your video was very helpful, so thank you.
Have just got a new one ! Great car - averaging 55mpg around town Very pleased with it especially advances technology and driver aids Unfortunately as with 71% of new cars no bloody spare wheel ! Had to buy space saver for £143 today What a stupid not to have a spare wheel Bizarrely wheel well with stupid tyre inflator will accommodate a space saver wheel ! Why not fit one in the first place - ridiculous development in cars 😱🤬🤬
Manufacturers should throw away the owners handbook which would save a lot of money having to produce thousands of those and give you space in the glove box and then that would cover the cost of the space saver wheel. As you rightly noticed there is a place for it in most cars they just expect you to have to pay extra. Many thanks for your comment
Your not missing anything with the built in sat nav my 2021 Niro 3 nav does really strange things directing way off route for no reason I prefer to use Apple car play
Love your energy and agree on how much you like the car but I do spot some mistakes in the info you are giving (USB C, horsepower engine, electric motor) but hey, still loved it :)
Thank you so much . I have just bought the car 🚘. It was really good and useful video. I did love the way you did explain it. You are really the best ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍
Annoying reverse sound loud as hell. Got to pop mine in the dealer tried setting s and still loud. . They sort it for me . Love it tho apart from settings complicated for me haaaa
I bought Kia Mirón plug in hybrid new 2019. I am at 124,000 miles mint kept up also hybrid system keeps popping up shut off and car restart car also will leave u and family on side of road DO NOT BUY

I have the same but in black and a 2019. It's a brilliant car. Drives wonderfully. So much room as well.
I have watched a few of these reviews and none tell you how far will the car go on battery only? Can you tell me thanks.

How much large suitcases can you fit in?
there is a space for the shelve behind the floor :) you just need to pull away the plastic lid on the right side

Can you tell Me how far it will go on electric only? The Prius did less than a mile on flat roads?

You can put the boot parcel shelfcover under the floor space
Cross - over test please.
