The "politeness" of a first world country police is impressive. I live in Brazil. Just out of curiosity, If the guy does not stop here, after a little while the police will simply start shooting the tires (in most cases they will miss and hit the car instead [or other people]).

It was barely raining at all, a helicopter isn`t grounded by rain or nighttime. Let alone a search and rescue heli operated by police forces.

Its actualy very intelligent driving because he trys flashing the guy to move out the fast lane but when he makes the call that its to late he pre-empts that he might move over whist he makes the overtake causing a collision so skips the middle lane and goes all the way to the inside lane.
Indeed, that was an impressive evasive manoeuvre. Well done. Of course, he was going very fast so you can't hold it against people that they misjudge the time they have before you reach them, so he was likely acutely alert and ready to evade if necessary. You have to be ready for such things if you're driving that fast. So apart from watching the path in front of your car, you also have to be constantly on the lookout towards both sides for an escape route in every situation, like being aware whether there's a hard shoulder to dodge to or not, whether there's a extra lane open or not to dodge towards or perhaps whether there's a freeway offramp you can dodge to if necessary. And once again, no surprise, the entire situation was caused by yet another clueless car zombie is driving in the middle lane without any traffic anywhere in sight. Ugh, that's such a damn nuisance
To me, it looks like that car is in the middle lane and changes to left when Junior starts to flash his lights. Maybe I'm wrong but it looks like that. It was probably someone who got offended by the flashing, lol

@@rooftopv4664 By the "car zombie", I meant the car in front of that, the one furthest away. He is driving in the middle lane without passing anyone, without anyone in sight even. And because of that, the middle car has to go to the left lane to pass him. Apart from that, I can't really tell if the middle one was already moving left or if he started moving left when ghostrider flashed his lights. I had assumed that he was already moving left but I could be wrong indeed, it's very hard to see

The cops definitely know who those guys are. There are like 10 million people in Sweden and very very few of them have the skillset to be driving like that. Even if the cops caught up to them it would be a scandal looking at footage of a cop somehow catching such a skilled driver in the rain. Likely ending is both cars would crash and die

Some cops tried to go at GR really hard aswell, one almost killed him (tried to hit him with a police van) and another crashed into civilian vehicle.

@@hugopnabais In coditions like in this video, 180/200 kmh would be totally ok for almost all the people. Only heavy rain is slowing down traffic to a mere 130/140 kmh.

I miss the STi. Would be cool to see them get a VA STi, and drop a built engine in it to get 800+ HP. Although they aren't exactly reliable...
The chases are usually 10 mins max so it could be possible if they dropped a 1000hp engine and used it at 700/800hp. But you dont need that much to outrun the cops there, it would be overkill 😅

They are skilled drivers. Not all are, sure. But to generalize is stupid. Most cops on this planet wouldn't chase you up to 250 kmh and send a helicopter instead. If it was a serious crime he was fleeing from they would also use roadblocks so he would've no chance of leaving the highway.
In cases like this especially in the rain they just don't risk a dangerous pursuit that could cost innocent lifes. In some countries they absolutely would and junior wouldn't do such things there.
