It's 2023 and Artlist continues to be one of the most popular royalty free music licensing services for creators, youtubers, and filmmakers looking for copyright safe music and sound effects to use in their videos. I've been using music from artlist in my youtube videos and films for a number of years, so today I thought I'd share my thoughts and review the current state of the royalty free music site in 2023, and how it compares to competitors like epidemic sound and soundstripe.

Thanks for the update. while I do not have a artlist subscription that is the one I will go with because of the very powerful licens.
yes and this is why i was thinking about going with artlist for the same reason but now with that change I am not so sure and more likely to go elsewhere. I think that is what it distinguished themselves from the competition but now not so much.

i have subscriptin in october 2022 for 1 month only, and i download almost 25 audio during active subscription. so my question, how if i use again 25 audio from october to create video A IN JUNE 2023, VIDEO B in august 2023 and next other video. its safe ?? because i confuse about rule
in my opinion read rule in artlist, i can use 25 audio for all other video lifetime. its true or any reason ?? please answer

No question is a dumb question! No, you pay for one year up front, there’s no recurring monthly cost on top of that.

That unlimited ownership after contract expires was the biggest hook over Epidemic . With no app for the phone that hurts

I bought a pro license last May 22 from artlits. I chose artlist for that simple reason that the license downloaded was covered FOREVER. I liked the idea of being able to take a year off and still use the music I already had and then return later for new tracks.
If I have understood it correctly, my license from May 22 is still is under the old license rules. Because I feel pretty cheated if I'm not allowed to use the music anyway. Maybe you know the answer for that.
But in my opinion, the new license rules are a shame. The famuos artlist license coverage was a huge advantage compared to alle the other platforms. So I don't think I will return to artlist for more music now.
I need that answer too. I just email them about that. What a shame indeed.
this is the beginning of the end. Everywhere you look, the main reason people choose Artlist is because , before you could use the music even after the license has expired. With that gone, they have 0 leverage over Epidemic.
