‼UPDATE ‼Because of this video, Musicbed has implemented site-wide language that clarifies the subscription process. Instead of saying "Monthly Subscription" it now very clearly says "Annual Subscription" I highly appreciate how Musicbed has responded to this video and I will continue to use their services as long as it supports my creativity for the foreseeable future!
Got a free trial a week ago and I selected the monthly youtube creator subscription but it shows my renewal is next year. I haven't used any of the songs, haven't even used it really but no option to cancel and no option to remove the card. Emailed them so still waiting on a reply. Music doesn't fit the type of content I have unfortunately.
Yeah. Thankfully this has paid off for me, doing weddings there is lots of really high quality music for me. But I just hate it when people aren't up front about stuff like this. And yes! You can't remove your card! So frustrating.
I wish i could have seen your video earlier. Now they charge even though i tried to cancel. They will now keep taking my money even though i am not a video creator and making money with their music. I regret a lot now...
Hey Eli! Apologies for the very delayed response - we appreciate your honest feedback about your experience! We apologize for any confusion surrounding our licensing agreement. All our subscriptions are annual contracts to ensure proper coverage and adequately cover our artists. We do advise reading through your contract before purchasing, but understand how some of the screenflows you shared might be deceptive too! We'll be sharing this with our team and appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts! UPDATE: We checked with our team and many updates were implemented sitewide to clarify that "Monthly" language! Thank you again for your feedback and we hope to work with you again in the future!
I will say your music is pretty good but your pricing is way too high for wedding videographers. When there are plenty of other companies that I can get for a lot cheaper and their music are pretty good too. I would love to go back to y'all, but y'all got to come down on your pricing for wedding videographers. To around $500 a year. now if y'all was at that price, I would not have any problems at all paying that, and I'm sure plenty other wedding videographers wouldn't have any problems paying that either. to me it seems like you would make more money that way by coming down on your prices for wedding videographers. but instead you want to charge $1,100 no matter how good your music is it is not worth that price tag. If I was going to pay $1,100 I rather take that price tag and pay for several different music sites not for just one and have even more variety. if I remember correctly I was a little upset whenever y'all force me to pay a whole year because I got stuck in that contract too and I will still ask to pay for some of the music on your site at $1,100 a year I should have access to all the music on that site.
You are a horrible company. By far the lowest rated music service provider in history. The only thing you do is answer with hidden limitations. I have your subscription, still paying, but will never use you ever again. You will be outed and eventually loose all your subscribers. A disclaimer towards your service will be added to every video i ever create on youtube.
@@DanielNorling2.0 I doubt that would happen, because they got all these big TH-camrs vouching for them. Like Matt Johnson for example. We need more videos like this to show their scam and to show that they are way overpriced..
@@EyeLensWeddingVideography hey, we totally understand our pricing does not fit every budget! The reasoning behind our higher pricing is because we're a rights-managed model. This means not only do our artists maintain ownership of their content, they also get a majority of every license they sell. And the reason behind some of our music not being in subscription is due to the record label that release is under! This is to ensure you have the easiest clearance possible and encounter no issues with copyright upon upload.
@@themusicbed It is way too high for the price I can get memberships with several other companies and get even more music, and have access to all songs. Wouldn't it make sense to lower your prices to get more subscribers. $1,100 just pretty steep for a music subscription where everybody else is charges anywhere from 200 to 300 a year. Or at least make a another website for just wedding videographers just think of how much revenue you can get from that.
@@Burritosarebetterthantacos Hey Skip! For that pricing - it sounds like you might've been looking at a license for client work. For Personal Projects, our single-song licenses start at $59!
Musicbed is one of the worst companies ever. I would not recommend anyone to subscribe to it unless they understand their business model. You will subscribe to ANNUAL PLAN although it says MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION. Don't waste your money.

Agreed ! I totally get where you’re coming from. Good to know because I was about to sign up because of their music…
Oh yes! And they do have some killer music!

Omg 😱 I wish I saw this before starting with it 😩😩😩 I also thought it was monthly and then it’s over whenever I want 😕😕😕
So frustrating. I. love their music but man, I hate the way they are sneaky about this.
Musicbed's music is good but the business model is a complete RIP OFF!!!!
Thanks for the heads up!
yeahh this is tough. wish i could just try for a month
Looks like I’m gonna think twice before using musicbed
Yer glas I watched this first.. I won't be going with them. Thanks for letting us know :)
I was just thinking about signing up but now I will have to rethink. Thank you!
They've changed things since the making of this video, I use them all the time and I do recommend them.
I have a subscription and today I am not able to download songs. Bad service, do not recommend. Although I love the songs.
same thing $79.99 a month and you have to include project details before downloading any song
I am here for the first time
Glad to have you 😄

Happened to me as well
Solution: compose your own music.

I was just ripped off by Musicbed.
you literally are not gonna state what happen but just put that little nugget of info?
I’ll never purchase from music bed. They are super money hungry, overpriced, and don’t care about their users.
$350 a song for personal projects seems insane to me.
Is it that high? I thought it was like $70 for individual licenses

Read the update! They have corrected this issue and i was very happy with how Musicbed took the critique from this video. 😄
They’re still way overpriced in comparison to all competitors
