What is Narratology? (Part 2) Mediated and Unmediated Enunciations. What is Narrative Theory?
This is my second conversation on narratology and narrative theory. In this video I further explain the concepts of narrative and mediated and unmediated enunciations, which is extremely important in understanding narratology and narrative analysis.
The editors of "narratology" define the term as follows:
Narratology is, etymologically, the science of narrative. [the term was Popularized, however, by such structuralist critics as Gerard Genette, Mieke Bal, Gerald Prince and others in the 19Z0s.1 As a result, the definition of narratology has usually been restricted to structural, or more specifically structuralist, analysis of narrative.

What is Postcolonialism:
