Appreciated the wonderful feedback Viki. It is a very blissful experience painting from the heart. Thrilled that you are connecting to the feeling that way. 😊🙏
very good tutorial especially thankfull for the tip how to create a gold color. I am currently busy with a Bengal cat and its furr has a lot of warm gold in it. So mixing orange/yellow with the burnt sienna is great!!
Hi Marjolein... thank you so much for taking the time to comment... much appreciated. It is always great to know my pointers are helpful. Lemon Yellow and burnt Sienna is a magic combo for gold jewellery too with a little ultramarine here and there. All the very best with your Bengal cat 😊🙏
Dave - are you using pastel pencils for the under drawing as well as the main painting? - If so what pastel pencils do you recommend? Fantastic artist by the way! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Janine...thank you... glad you like the video... I mainly use the chalkier pencils like Carbothello and conte a Paris... if you freeze the video I am holding the pencils colours up so you can see. 😊🙏
I have only used the white for black and white drawings on grey and tan paper... I try to stick to a few brands as it can get rather complicated. The Derwent brand should work the same with my technique. 🙏

Hello Dave.
Do you ever use Derwent pastel pencils?
