Thanks for sharing, I learned that blue ones are antimicrobial, gray black ones are charcoal based and can help removal excess chemical smell. Blue is probably best from cleanliness standpoint.

Balls are awesome but they hardly wash during backwash. What i do i keep the sand in the filter but i put some puffy balls into the skimmer basket. Works like a charm and i can backwash.

I had to try a different alternative the sand was just scattering in the pool and boy it was a headache getting off the bottom of the pool , Thank you for the suggestion!!!!

@@SimplyTrice seems like the sand particles are too small for the filter? It should not happen. Sand should stay in the filter. I don't have sand anymore but glass. I bought it in Poland but for sure you can get it wherever you are. Glass is a little better when comes to filtering than sand and it needs less frequent backwashing. However I use balls to improve the filtering.

Advantage of the balls is that one it filters out smaller particles and two you do not need to backwash at all. You are not supposed to do that so you do not need to fill up the pool so much.

What is the vacuum you use? Does it have a filter basket on it?

You can't use that chemical with that pool. The pool liner can't handle the chemical. This is why they sell their own products that won't eat away at the pool liner. Other problem is that pump and filter is not strong enough for that pool. If you were to have like 6 kids in that pool the next day it would be cloudy. Those filter ball only work on a big sand filter models that that tiny sand filter.

Hi!!! Appreciate your opinion but you’re wrong that chemical flocculant didn’t eat away at the liner pump filter works great I’m sure a bigger one would work even greater but it gets the job done filter balls works great as well on the pool and our filter system that we have as shown in this video . Thanks for watching!!! Will be an update soon on these filter balls 😉

@@SimplyTrice OK when you start getting pin holes. Then you now why

That pump is for 17,200 gallon pool. Actually is more than enough for her pool seeing as though I have a 24 foot round pool 54 inches high and my pool is just under 16,000 gallons. The pump is plenty for her pool.
Also, pools get cloudy after people swim in them because of the sunscreen we wear into the pool, plus other things the little heathens do (cause I’m sure people urinate in our pools without us knowing). This is why at the end of the day you should check and balance chemicals.
As for the chemicals eating through her pool - nah, not in the slightest. It’s a 3 ply pool wall. The inside is a thinner mil pool liner - which is made for all pool chemical on the market for liners then it’s a high strength polyester mesh and then an extra thick PVC layer.
Her pool will be fine especially since she doesn’t allow the chemicals to sit on her liner. That’s the only time she’d have a problem. But as she stated in the video even though she doesn’t have a pool brush, she used a broom.

@lilbuddha4135 it's not the gallons it the hp when it comes to pool pumps and that pump is not putting that out at the pool. That's why HP is what you want in a pool pump.
