Tried your settings (0, +3, +6, +7, +5 with Clear Bass at -1) on my WH-CH 520 and it really cleaned up the muffled sound. Used the ‘Excited’ preset first, but the treble was too hot. This is better balanced! Thanks!
I am also using ch 520 , will check this out , cause on the laptop without application these sounds awesome but for android I was finding these settings now will see how this plays
It makes instrument separation unbelievably great and also the vocals sound good really clear. Everything feels so balanced that nothing is overpowering it actually makes me appreciate the music and vocals. I think this setting should be suitable for a wide range of music. Thanks, Man.
Your preset is excellent, I added Clear Bass +10 because I love a bass heavy style but mirrored the other settings on the EQ band and it made my heavy bass music extremely clear and articulated! Also the main thing here was the instrument separation! After mimicking these settings (with the difference in bass for my style) I immediately noticed a wider sound stage and went to a live performance on Apple Music to test it and it is night and day! Thank you again!!
The audio for this video is only coming out of the right channel on my sony xm5's. Dunno if it's just me or not. *Edit* Never mind after the intro it's fine for the most part. Btw they will honor any eq that's running. I had a pair of 910's and that's where I had mine set basically but each one lower especially 2.5 and 4.3k. For the xm4 & 5's you really need different settings because they actually make less bass but not really lol. What I mean is... They are capable of more but without using the EQ and boost they won't have overwhelming bas effect killing the sound profile but again I don't think you can use the same settings for all headphones. You can for the same basic model range which is dictated mostly by exterior design and price. Also NOBODY should buy the noise cancelling Pulse3d headphones. They are literally a pair of $140 headphones with white plastic covering what used to be basically the size of gne 910's lol. It's ridiculous and they aren't worth it. The Sony 3d audio is on par with Windows Sonic lol. It's unfortunate they don't support Atmos. I know if costs $20 per license but if they did it the way Microsoft has and sold the license to an account not a device then you can use it on as many devices as you want for $20. Same with DTS:X. Then just click if on PC and enable atmos on headphones and it is shockingly good considering it's headphones lol.... I use an 11.2 surround setup so surround headphones have bothered me for years because they weren't very good. Dolby cracked it the code and now everyone else's algorithm is better because the copied it. Anyways the anc pulse are like $300or 400 and people think they are xm4 or 5's but they aren't. Also the regular pulse headphones have decent passive noise cancelling. I'd say buy the 910's or xm4's and use them on ps5 but Sony blocks 3d audio to all but their headphones. If you open them up the pulse3d is just a regular set of cans. Nothing special. Actually they have horrible controls. What were they thinking? Compare ease of use to the Xbox Atmos. You twist one side for vol and the other for chat/game mix. Mute is easy to find so is power. On Sony's they jammed everything on 1 side and close so I never know wth I'm doing and I'm being forced to use them because their audio format selection is awful and they block access to audio. I think Sony is the cheapest one out of all of them - see what your primary need is outside of it sounded better for example weight etc and go for one of the two. Here in UK the JBL seems to be over £100 - £150 so i would avoid that.
Are these EQ settings stored in the headphones once adjusted in the app? I mean if we power off or if we don't connect to the app next time will these EQ settings work?
Sound position controll option is probably not available for all headphones. Earlier iwas using XB900N like yours in the video, it had that option. But now using ult wear, which do not feature that option. Is it available when ambient sound controll turned on?

Someone want to explain the clear bass to me (what it does)? I listen to a lot of metal, and a forum that I found about metal eq settings suggested turning the clear bass up to +7. I'm new to the sony headphones, so idk if it's good advice or bad. It sounds good to my ear, so maybe that's the only thing that matters - but I may also be missing out on an even better sound. I should probably just play around with the eq and figure it out myself instead of being lazy and asking for advice on the internet.....but here I am anyway. I just like hearing peoples' opinions/suggestions.

Thank you man,I always used treble boost to just mute the muffled sound 😂 but these are perfect balanced and it removes the muffled sounds❤
