This song is stuck in my head and I play this on loop for hours on end fr. This arc animated gives me SO many chills and the absolute rage behind this song matched with the absolute tragedy and grimness of the anime is just. perfect. My fav part has to be the bridge section of the song "will you watch me burn" and seeing chimera Falin playing innocent to deceive her brother. Not only is it an inconsistency in the structural pattern of the song and melody itself, it represents the literal inconsistency/"anomaly" that stops Laios in his tracks. It forces him to stop in order to process the sight of his sister's soul trapped in the body of a monster. GOD THIS IS JUST SO GOOD I'M OBSESSED I TELL YOU.
