Side note: Chongqing is part of the many inspirations for Liyue. When I was young, my family and I went to Wulong (near Chongqing) where the mountains and small rivers look a lot like fantasy, very much like in the game. The place is absolutely wonderful. And Huanglong national park (official collaboration for the model of Luhua Pool) is also located not far away, in Sichuan. Can't wait to be back in China and visit these collabs whenever I'm allowed to. 🙏

Most of the recipes in Liyue are based on actual Chinese foods, you may find them in an authentic Chinese restaurant. For example, Mora Meat is equivalent to ”Rou Jia Mo", you can find it in a Xi'an restaurant.

The appeal of Anime styled characters have been massive in these countries that even tourism and military use anime characters as a means of advertisement, some even use them as official mascots.
