Axial RBX10 RYFT Waterproof? I find out!

- Just a quick waterproof test! The Axial RBX10 RYFT has a go at the tiny river. How Waterproof is it? In this run I'm running a 3s 5000mah 50c lipo. The truck is basically box stock with the exception of the rear trailing arm metal supports from Axial. I ordered the Axial low gear set and rear swaybar(pre order). I do enjoy this rig even though I can't recommend it unless your just going to upgrade everything. I was planning to keep this factory stock because I already have too many projects that need attention. This was just a purchase for a hopefully reliable stock rock basher for when I have the need for POWER! Hahaha.

Caution! Before attempting a water run don't forget to tape your vent holes on your wheels and unplug the fan from the esc. Then after water run maintenance will be needed like making sure everything is dried out and lubricated before storing your prized possession.

Thinking about getting one of these. Your verdict?
I really enjoy it. If you don't bash it and use it more like your actually in the thing then its pretty good. If you wanna send it then some upgrades will be necessary. The steering servo saver is weak and the rod ends need to be replaced with traxxas ones or they sent me the straight ends to replace the curved ones. After I replaced everything and reshimmed the gears in the diffs I have been driving it more scale and it hasn't had any issues in the last couple runs.

@@mistermasada1829 repairing and upgrading are definitely part of this hobby!
@@fatboytaylor7225 inside the diffs the 2 input gears from the axle shaft needs some shims added to tighten the gear mesh(on my model atleast). Seems to handle the rock bouncing a lot better now.

@@RunThatRC except hard landings pushes air out and tape off and hole is open again..I tape or epoxy the inside after Ive re-glued the tires. except on crawler wheels when you want a softer tire
