Current castle wars is an C, but castle wars back in 2008-2011 was a legit SSS tier for me. It was simply the most fun I have ever had playing any game ever. Then the evolution of combat came which absolutely killed c wars for me. I did eventually transfer over to OSRS and when I got to high enough combat, I went back to c wars hoping to rekindle that really fun time from all those years earlier. Unfortuneately all I found was disappiontment.
I agree, the nostalgia of being an 8 year old running around CW and seeing level 100+s with a whip was just beyond what my mind could comprehend of the game. It was such an amazing experience trying to run naked with the flag as far as I could as a level 45ish

I really enjoy GOTR however my biggest problem with it is that it takes so long to join a game. By the time I’ve geared up and set up my inventory, then wait at the gate to join a game, I feel like I’ve wasted 10 min. I wish it was easier to solo like wintertodt or tempoross to avoid that wait
I found a guide by someone called NoCurrencies and it really helps me get insight in the game. I successfully finish >90% of my games in 10 minutes, 15 if I'm unlucky (with colossal pouch). Basically how you set up your game at the start is very important: That you have good enough guardians and the best barrier asap. At lower % there are less abyssal creatures and they're less aggressive and it scales with the % (not even taking the 60% threshold into account). You sometimes have to miss a portal for that, especially the decision of whether or not taking the first and second portal are very important.
It's surprising but Gnome Restaurant can actually be profitable. I think the 900k/h stated on the wiki is a fairly accurate figure, can be more than that potentially because the uniques often sell for way above GE price. This of course requires doing it for a while at lower profit to be able to skip worthless tasks. The downsides are obviously low GE volumes of both the rewards and inputs, although I found most of the foods were usually available and those that weren't don't take that long to make yourself once you get the hang of it. Also, the actual skipping of the tasks is kind of annoying, having to spam through the dialogue every time.
I do this as a money maker and it’s close to maybe 600k at the lowest. But the upside is you can run it with less than 20k gp and it can be done on mobile. The rest of the game is clicking through textboxes and buying ingredients. Plus the number of quests to unlock the fastest routes are about 6.
I actually did Brimhaven agility dungeon super early on in my Ironman account because I needed to get a snapdragon herb as one of my random items for fairy tale quest, and at my nonexistent farming level this was the most reliable source for the item that seemed achievable and didn’t rely on RNG. That minigame is very not fun at low agility levels.
Gnome scarves and seed pods may be much lower than they used to be since a few certain YT videos revealed the secret, but gnome restaurant is actually still quite profitable if you know how to dig for those items. The scarf is needed for a clue scroll iirc and the seed pods are useful for players who don't have the reqs for MM2, plus they're still the fastest way to the gnome gliders since royal only takes you to the base of the tree iirc. If you buy all the food from the GE it's expensive and boring but if you know what you're doing you can make it all just from the local gnome shops and some banked frog legs and king worms for pretty cheap. Heck if you want to skip the rng you could just make the gnome food and sell it yourself, at time of writing it's going for like 3k per piece and you can make it for pennies. Pretty low exp in a skill that has incredibly cheap fast exp/hr though so gnome food is only ever done as a money maker.
Soul Wars is definitely B tier or above. It actually has an active community, and there are lots of different strategies. That being said, it's not fun for low level players.
Doing Guardians of the Rift minigame right now. A little bias here, as I love Runecrafting as a skill, what I highly disliked about it was all the teleporting around needed to make it good, which is why I never ended up grinding that skill. With GotR it removes that factor and is actually quite afk once you get the system and timing down. Confusing at first, but after a few games, you get the gist of it.
BA is not fun. Brimhaven agility? not fun really disapointing that you didnt show clips of the activity you were talking about. would of made this video so much more interesting
Hallowed sepulchre is s tier. It brought the best teleport to a bank into the game. 3-4 tiles from the bank chest and it's not too bad to farm the marks after you've unlocked everything

I wish instead of GoTR, they had brought back The Great Orb Project from RS2. It was kinda like Soul Wars but with Runecrafting (and no PvP), and I loved it.
Working on 99 agility, currently doing my laps at rellekka rooftop until 90 (currently half way to 89) , ardy rooftop to 92 then im doing Sepulchre to 99 hoping for some ring money to fund 99 construction.
pirate hook is like 5k gp per ticket. so unless you really like the minigame its D tier maybe. otherwise it would be A tier. i remember my sis who loved the minigame. i never figured out why. she had 99 agil and still did it to relax i believe after a stressfull day. and sold the hooks for quite some cash or traded it for a set of barrows.
Got a complete switch in oppinions when it comes to pest controll and giants foundry for me. I find pest control to be one of the slowest boring grinds I did. I cant do it all at once or i fall asleep but need todo it to get the prety decent armour set. in the meantime I kinda like giants foundry. beats just smithing a bunch of random shit at an anvil and unlocking stuff is fun to me, same with guardians of the rift.
Bloodbark body & legs can be useful as a swap at god wars w/ blood spells for a little extra healing and accuracy. I'll bring it when ranging bandos in a grp.

Wintertodt and Tempoross don't have collection log slots? That's crazy. I really like Tempoross even though it has yet to give me my Dragon harpoon. Wintertodt must be one of the most head empty click button types of minigames out there but the xp is the best I've gotten in game so far. I'm super resentful though because it gave me seven(7!) pairs of warm gloves in a row before I got something actually useful. What are the odds of that? Currently I'm doing tithe farming because I finally got frustrated with having to leave herbs on the ground. Getting to the point where I can almost watch a TH-cam video while doing the 20 plant method.
Wintertodt & Tempoross do have log slots just not in the minigame tab, they're technically considered bosses. Tithe farm is so hit or miss but I'm like you where I got the rhythm and I enjoyed my time there, gl with the grind my man!

IMO fishing trawler should have its own F- tier just because the gameplay is that bad despite the angler set. It’s boring content, you almost need to play w/ public chat off on mass worlds and it’s nauseating/unplayable with the default motion cam enabled. I’m thankful I got lucky with my drops there

Soul Wars is A tier for me. Its good chil fun and the loot crates have great drops for ironmen in particular.
Sepulchre is some of the best content in the game, period IMO. Disrespectful that it didn't make S-tier.
