That is why SG made the change to make hardmode reward something different. I mean part of that stems from how Korea was shocked how much it cost to push to Akkan HM day 1 just to realize it was such a waste. Which was fair, SG came out and dropped that shit on them after a long dead period and overtuned the mats needed because of this. And they even said that they went too far with elixirs and that transcendence would be better, which is why you can get the mats, but its locked behind HM clear. And Echidna is better because you can atleast do G1 HM G2 NM or just G1 HM and eventually get there. I do wonder is the Korean player base knew that HM and NM reward the same upgrade material if they would care as much now. Like knowing well in advanced that you dont need to do it if they would be so opposed to it.
I thinks it's depends on you how play the game, I just come back to the game after the solo raid update. and push all my alts 1500~ish to 1580 because no one can gatekeeps my alts now. and sometimes I just join pug to have fun with other people on my main. and its definitely more more enjoyable & less stressful than before to play the game.
I 100% agree that normal mode shoudl be easy. I dont struggle with normal content but when youre forming a party with 7 other people, 1 of them is bound to struggle at something and wipe the group. If they made that change then i think that people would be a lot mroe flexible with who they let into their party. Also solo mode needs a gold buff for sure.
Normal mode always should have been just dpsing boss to 0, and all the mechs should reduce boss def by 10% like in valtan ghost phase or giving individual players who completes mech dmg boost instead of raid wipe. Hard mode stays the same but with 50-100% increased rewards compared to normal
They must add practice button on every pattern in the raid ASAP, so if someday those new players reaching end game content they will not trolling a veteran party raids. Seriously man, if AGS was controling the whole fckin bots for a population active players that showed on Steam chart. Why they didn't make a separated Server and Market like they do before in new server NA (Vaingrys). So for those who wanna try this game (We talking about new players). They didn't feel like they have been cheated by the data, and got gatekeep on every lobby's because their progression is too low. Nb : Erase card sets AGS.. ASAP!! if you Smileface read this and you wanna grow your Community that play and enjoy every content in this game remove that or give em for free... They new players don't have to collecting every single piece of that
Which is why I think their implementation of solo raid is a fail for me, as a learning tool it's fucking good, so why is it not all the way through endgame ? You can just hold off the release of the last raid for solo, weeks after his release so that group can prog and still get a small gap ahead. As a alternative way of progressing, it's bad, and I say it as a returning player. Honing all the way to 1460 to 1580 is still really fucking long (even below 1540 with silver because it's not entirely true with blue oreha + almost the same honing chance as 1540+), and as midgame content you shouldn't spend that much time when people are like 1600+ nowadays, it's demotivating thinking that you spend that much time for old content that people barely care, how would it be at endgame (not saying endgame should be easy, it's endgame, but KRMMO or not, midgame should be fast) ? Yes it's fair thinking that player like us who get solo gold is because we don't get any group gold (personally not the case for me, I could get gold from group with multiple character when I played last year I just quit because I was tired to spend more time in PF than in the actual raid), but being able to not play the game to being able to play with this update is just the minimum, not something we should be thankful and stop complaining because it's not enough. That's just the tip of the iceberg, there's still a lot of things that isn't adressed that some even still encounter in the endgame (like cards), creating a character without or even with powerpass is still so bad, the investment needed to create alt in the alt heavy mmo is too much. Other than that, the mode have potential to be the best because it's so fun, I'm having so much fun with them, it's just that I'll probably swich to another game like PoE next league because currently I don't think with the state they released this it's worth my time, I'll probably just do the raid on all my character at the reset but I don't want to spend effort doing things like daily and all because in all case I'll be still gated by gold, not mats.

Let people dispatch raids in the stronghold (reward + gold bound) you still can do raids just get no reward or gold 99% PROBLEM SOLVE!!!!!!
