hey man! Good points on these topics! I'm returning to the game this week. I blind progged nm thaemine release week with the homies, then quit after that first week. I told myself that raid was some of the most fun challenging content I'd played thus far in lost ark and while I liked it a lot, just couldn't see myself farming it week over week and not burning out. Threw in the towel and have had a lot of these complaints you mentioned here. Distance did make the heart grow fonder somehow, despite the harsh truth that, yes, once you're off the treadmill it's insanely hard to get back on it. I'm realizing now with my meager 1640's that all my friends that hadn't taken breaks are all pulling like INSANE dps just wiping the floor with these raids I missed out on progging. I'll never catch up, but I had expected that. I have 3 1640's, Empress Arcana, Asura Breaker, and my ignite Deathblow Striker. I had parked my robust soulfist at 1600 before quitting and came to your channel to see what your thoughts were about robust in t4 because I thought it could be cool to also push it up at some point. Yea I think reducing the overall costs of advanced honing in T4 or at leasting giving you the option to do it with T3 mats would be really good. I am done with all my 7 characters regarding transcendence and elixirs now and I feel the pain of going through the progression. However, it is really satisfying as soon as you are done with it with every character. For newer players I would really hope they will address these systems again and make them more enjoyable. The gold costs are not even the problem - the time investment, needing to fail more likely so many times before being successful is just bad

Agreed, Trans and AH is a big problem, hope they move advance honing back to T3, its really stupid the way it is rn. T4 honing cost is somewhat i think reasonable for a new tier but to make old system like AH to gatekeep new tier progression is really dumb. Now we do Echidna only for the gold bc it simply not worth to do AH which is really dumb.

And I would love like u said a more flexible boss fight where we could bring 1, 2 or any number up to 8 and scale the difficulty to our liking so we have a more fun way to teach friends how to play their class without needed other ppl down to wipe. They could use old raids and guardians

AH is the only big issue in my opinion, elixirs are free already, transcendence costs too much and takes too much time

North Kurzan Powerpass with full elixirs and transcendence. That's what I want. And knowledge transfer to North Kurzan with full elixirs and Transcendence. And a powerpass to South Kurzan with full Akkan gear. Because that stupid gear grind for Akkan is ridiculous.

What i expect: -New class and express event to go along with it -silver honing to 1580 -honing nerfs up to 1620 (prob not as much as it should be thou) -some changes to elixirs and transcendance -some changes to T4 to make ark passive easier to get into -new raid teased What i want: -much easier time honing to get to 1620 as well as 1660 Or for our region, nerf ilvl requirement for aegir nm to 1640 (big cope) -make elixirs and transcendance stupid easy to upgrade but just invest gold/mats into it (roster wide idea with a knowledge transfer fee id be fine with too) -solo thaemine and along side that either nerf the Dark fire cost or give us more mats to make it faster to finish transcendance progression. -make it so all classes can utilize ark passive comfortably at 1640/1660 and not 1680+ (looking at you striker and soulfist)

no reason advance honing to have the same material cost as t3 in t4, It should be a 1/5th the cost of t3 since t3 already does a 5:1 conversion for most materials. It's a T3 system and we are in T4 it needs to be expedited. making the system cost a 5th of the resources gives a nice dopamine hit of ilvls and stops it from actively punishing you for not doing it in T3. I think Adv honing should also just replace honing all together but thats my two cents.

First you are way to early with this kind of topic. Should be no longer than a week before. Otherwise nobody remembers it. Pretty sure the director announced a new class reveal in his dev stream when he said alchemist will it not be.

I like the idea of making elixirs/transcendence roster wide. But the one thing that they need to add very quickly is solo Theamine/Echnida. I can't believe that those 2 haven't been released yet.

The things they SHOULD have already done: 1. Fix advance honing in T4. There is no reason it should be so expensive compared to T3 and it shouldn't be THIS HARD to hit 1660. 1b. Alternatively make normal Aegir 1650-1655 as this is a compromise to not piss off players that already did adv hone in T4. 2. Fix the mokoko status for people. There are far too many people that are being gatekept permanently and will quit because of it. 3. Increase access to blue/protection stones. This could be more drops from Kurzan Front, Guardian, or events. I think you are right they will probably add a new class. They are also going to make Ark Passives usable at 1640 without being a nerf. I assume this will similar to the Engraving Support system.

For elixir a simple fix is make imbue weapon possible, we would get 40 set pretty easily Transcendence I think is fine, they can make it cheaper and buff the elzowin blessing. Advanced hone they could make echidna;aegir drop some special materials just to advance hone.

Does anyone know if we can get both aran and shade reward tracks if we burn one then delete and re-burn the other?

Playnig the game 6 months, having 4 1640-1650 chars and two 1610, I have never touched advanced honing, so not a single care about it given for the Loa on

I just returned to lost ark during the ignite event. Made a new soul eater, got it to 1650, learning about trancendence and elixers legit makes me want to quit. It is a horrible system. I cant even generate unbound gold either from my t3 main and alts anymore, cant hone them due to lack of resources and how expensive it still is. If they made the costs the same as ignite up until 1640, it would remedy it quite a bit. Literally no one is doing T3 content at all.

hey im stack with my chars because im lacking destiny shards. i was always 'behind' main content -> so i never done adv honing on my characters. now i cant get from 1640 to 1660... because im lacking destiny shards. on every single char im playing i got everything else but not that. Any way to get them? except daily dung/daily guardian/pvp/una's tasks Am i missing something? i''m not best player ever but it's just annoy me that i have all other materials and can't get this shards. and i have no idea what i'm doing wrong. Hard to be HYPED or enjoy new content (aegir) or new ark passives (t4) when i can't even get there after a month of playing.

My Aran was 210 when I found out about the 2 hyperburns when coming back in September, so Shade is gonna be a nice boss mule and legion block to burn. I'm seriously considering the other to be a NL to main after getting discouraged over progressing on my DK.

No, use the first Hyper Burn as the anyone Hyper Burn just in case the game takes your anyone Hyper Burn on your Shade or Aran - this prevents any possible scenario of a if the game bugs out, you didn't screw yourself over. Second Hyper Burn use on Shade or Aran since that is forced to one of two options. Very important to use the anyone Hyper Burn first on not Shade or Aran (unless you want to Hyper Burn Shade AND Aran, which this is a possible scenario too).
