I think its because of the whole strict hair length that Elle mentioned about when she kept getting suspended. Tao is a rebellious person so I think he styled his hair to get away with it lol. Idk

I love taos hair because of the head cannon that it’s because he was growing it out with Elle but he curled it up so he wouldn’t get dress coded

As an Asian i find it just a normal haircut, nothing wrong with it.
The only thing I found funny about the hair was the way it looks under the beanie with the two bits flicking forward from under the hat
