What you see,is the same type of machining, casting techniques, that were prevalent in the US,in the 1890's,only with electric motors, instead of belt drive,/steam engine driven! There are 100+ year old steam engines, trolley cars, automobiles all from that type of mechanical engineering!! And,as a kicker, when that equipment was in service,it got anywhere from 30 to 70+ years revenue use! There are IRT low voltage motors, still capable of regular service,in museum operations! They really did build well, back then!! Thank you for the attention! Thank you 😇 😊!
When I first immigrated to Canada in 1967 as a profesional Machinist with a Diploma degree from a german Technical School, in Jordan. The 1st. employment for me in Winnipeg - Manitoba, was in a German Water Pump Factory, I was Machining Parts made from Cast Iron, for the water pump. I worked about 6 Months & left it for another job, building a huge Electrical Generators, Tap Dears and Swith Gears in Pioneer Electric. Then I Moved to Vancouver, B.C. to work in Kenworth Truck Industry, at least, I liberated my self from machining the parts of the Cast Irons. Alwayes breathing the powder of the black dust of the Machined Cast Iron. Pakistan is wittnising a great industrial revolution. Ma Shaa Allah, they got all the Engineers & Technicians to do anything, God Bless.
I bet the same people who point out how poor of quality they think the castings are because of ancient techniques are the same people who complain They don't make stuff as good as the old days.
Some commentators here are crazy they complain about the way is done you can't see these poor people are working with flip flops on their feets no safety regulations and people are just concern with the quality of their work shame on you all
I like you video. But, ‘I have a question I want you to answer for me. If you don’t mind doing so.😅 why didn’t your Machinist remove all the inclusions from the Facing Surfaces? Also, why did your men leave the insides of Pump Housing’s rougher than they should’ve left it? By leaving the insides rough, wouldn’t this set up Oscillations inside Pump?😅 Oscillations would cause premature Pump Failure. Pump Shaft would become unstable at higher RPS causing Bearing Failure.😢 All surfaces that matter should be Smooth. Right? 😊There is no reason for using Body Filler’s so that Gaskets will seal in my opinion.😊 Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge with me.😊 I have so many other questions, I really don’t know where to start. I just watched these men pound a Bearing into a Housing with heavy Hammers. Why? All that was needed was Heating of Housing and Shaft Bearing would’ve just dropped in. “WOW”😢 you guys need to change the way things are done in my opinion. But anyway, Please make a comment on what I had to say. Again thank you😊
Really???…not once did I see these mud hut machinists assembling their parts without some kind of gasket material…nor any use of a torque wrench on all fasteners of parts being joined together…good guess it’ll be why they fab so many is because so many fail because they leak…Duh.

I remember my Father and grandfather. Beside the technology and robotics, its depend upon each country. They are winners and good professions.

Skilled people. At d same time safety is very important. No safety ....to these people..Work well done..
Excellent work but impeller balancing missing very good workmanship❤👌🙏

No shame here🤣
Quality work love from India🇮🇳❤
Never, never, never put the casing on the stud bolt to the floor.

what did amazing about how they do the heavy initial labor but at the and no quality at all
ایا یو څوک کولی شي ما ته ووایی چې ولې دوی د کور په شا بدلوي؟ د ساعت په لور، لکه څنګه چې د عادي ساعت په مقابل کې؟
always look for made in canada
Can I order my parts with extra rust and sand?
No
Nice job men ❤
SI A ESTASPIEZAS SE GRANALLARAN CON BOLAS DE ACERO LOS ACABADOS SERIAN MEJORES.
Similarities to KSB pumps
