I've been digital journaling for more than 3 years now and it's the best thing that happened to me. It feels so liberating to not worry about all the supplies (limited stickers, buying markers and pens over and over again) and making mistakes. Digital (junk) journal is a world of infinite possibilities 💕
Yes please to more "junk journalling" - I like the look of that app - I might download it - tend to use my windows laptop more than the ipad though - plus I bought some supplies to try it in my Hobonichi Cousin, as I love it but barely use it
It is SUCH a great idea to do this digitally!! I love journaling on paper and I used to make random collages in PicCollage when I was younger, combining the two makes sense. I think not having the right materials (nor a printer) is a barrier to starting a junk journal, but with a digital journal you can paste in your photos and everything Pinterest has to offer! Thanks for sharing😊
I'm very much a pen and paper girl but I can see the appeal of digital junk journaling after this video! My sister is very talented and she's made me a couple of journals that I use or have used as art journals or memory keepers.
I quickly moved from bullet journaling to junk journaling as I preferred to digitally plan and physically store memories (and be creative)! I do it left often now but I still am in habit of saving little momentos. Trying to plan more time for creativity
I use a Bullet Journal for simple planning but also as a book tracker, highlights, and other tracking stats. I love journaling my day to day so I see what I was up to months & years before.
I love this! I hope to see an update of how you continue to use this. Now that I'm finishing school I am always looking for new ways to use my iPad, and I think this could be fun.
I love how this turned out! I’ve always loved the idea of junk journaling but felt a little intimidated by the aesthetics and getting everything ‘just right’. I love how it turned out digitally and how you can easily press undo and try again!
Thanks for introducing me to this. I had never heard of it before now, but I will def be giving this a try. Sounds like so much fun. With the world and life being so serious about 90% of the time it’s nice to have something fun right at your fingertips.
I love the cozy vibes of this video! I don’t have an iPad but this video makes me want one lol. I’d love to junk journal and see more videos like this! 💫
Thank you so much for this video. I’m definitely going to try junk journaling in this app, it looks so beautiful and appealing to use, and I’ve been taking a break of junk journaling because I was doing physically and did not have all the resources I wanted to use for it, so the digital one is such a great solution! Thanks again for sharing this with us 🖤
I've been wanting to junk journal for a while now but realized it can be costly collecting different types of stationary. I also currently daily journal and I think digital journaling could be a way for me to be creative ✨
Thank you so much for this video. I was trying so hard to get my journal “perfect”. This video unlocked a door for me! Thank you so much. Please keep doing these videos! I had never heard about junk journaling. I recently saw the term junk journal like yesterday for the first time and I was curious what it was all about. I’m so excited! You introduced me to something that I believe will really “stick” for me!
this is wild! i was just randomly watching this and i saw one of my stickers! im the "nothing happened" newsprint illustrator! just thought that was such a small world. great video, loved it!
Your pages look so beautiful and inspiring! Such a good vibe 🤩 looking forward to more videos like this one alongside with your vlogs and crocheting adventures 💕
I love to art journal from time to time and I used to work in a job that was pretty mindless, in a back office where no one bothered me. I used to love watching art, junk, and travel journal TH-camrs while working. Hmm, I'd recommend mylifemits and maremi smallart off the top of my head. (Both are non-digital.)
If you don't want to be influenced by others. Just start without Pinterest or set a timer..I do this with all new hobbies that are within my capabilities. And it helps me to just figure things out my own way. I use a travel journal for traveling and my normal hieroglyphs journal for real planning..
I am a mom and i feel like i don‘t have time to do it and always procrastinate..but i really want to do it. I also feel like i am not creative enough for this kind of hobby.
I love junk (art) journaling as a form of self-care and I was hesitant of you doing it digitally, but as per usual, you showed me a way it might work ;) Thanks for sharing and those spreads have YOU "pasted" all over them... specially the digital scrap of craft paper... oh how I miss those in your content =)
Love this! My BuJo notebooks are getting to be such a burden as they stack up over 8 years. Last thing I want is to save some junk. Thanks for the video!
Sorry but, for one who enjoys writing and painting and journalling and who genuinely gets asmr form stationery related content...those new nails of yours give me the creeps! I definitely preferred your old natural ones, no harm intended

What is a hieroglyphs journal? When I google it, only stuff about Egyptian hieroglyphs pops up
This looks so cool 🥰 I want to try it!
This reminds me of the Smash Book I use to do in college (2012-2016)
I am a mom and i feel like i don‘t have time to do it and always procrastinate..but i really want to do it. I also feel like i am not creative enough for this kind of hobby.
This is so cool!
Can you do more videos on this please? X
This is more my speed. I tried bullet journaling and it was just too overwhelming for me
i kinda want to do this too, but it would be in my laptop instead of an ipad 😅👀
I’m definitely be doing this but exclusively on Android 😅
Not me buying a collage book to junk journal today 😭😭😭 what is in the air!!
Does the Paper app allow you to save and export the journal to PDF?
yes
@@leahsjournals thank you I appreciate the feedback

Not going to lie it kind of looks like mini mood board stuff with stuff you already have.

Android version?
She uses Apple, so no android. I don’t believe Paper is available on android
