    Im an ex protestant (Anglican who is now Catholic) and to be fair i wouldn't even consider many of the groups shown here as being protestant , when i was an Anglican i saw them all as weird too ,they are their own thing that split from the traditional protestants such as Lutherans and Anglicans because we are too much like Rome apparently and so on. These groups formed in America where no official state church existed and it got weird. The Anglo-Catholic tradition i was once a part of was very high church and not as different as some may at first believe , we held to transubstantiation and asked the saints for intercession. To have an idea of the tradition go check out Personal ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham which is an Anglo-Catholic community that has come back into communion with Rome whilst keeping parts of the Anglican tradition and liturgy.

From a convert to a convert, fight for your new found faith, when you're theologically stumped and cornered look for answers, don't be weak and drop your faith immediately, I see it happen all the time where people drop there faith when something doesn't make sense rather then look for answers.

      @@SaintAthanasius_Edits Thankyou and God bless you too dear brother , im pretty new to the Catholic church (i only recently started attending mass) and my road has only just begun but i spent 2 years in prayer and learning as much as i could about all the theology ect. It was a decision i took very seriously. If i am to be totally honest the one thing i found a little different to what im used to and how i was raised is the level of devotion to Our Mother Mary , ive always loved and tried to honour her but in my anglo catholic upbringing we never took it to the levels that i have encountered inside the Catholic church (and please dont misunderstand this isnt a criticism im just being honest) but hey i have returned to Rome humbly and in acceptance that this is THE church our Lord Jesus established through Peter and when i made that decision i meant it for life , this is it for me. I understand culturally at times i may encounter things that seem alien to me as someone raised and lived as a faithful Anglican but i know i am where the Holy Spirit has guided me over the past few years. Thankyou for your supportive comment i will look you up if i encounter any issues or questions thankyou and the Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

    • @SaintAthanasius_Edits
      @SaintAthanasius_Edits  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Those whom follow Christ and apart of his church are the body of Christ, I don't want to bring you down or anything but I will explain why, for Christ founded his church in 30AD there wasn't any schisms and this church as we know from history is the Catholic church (but also every new testament page quite literally teaches the ways of the Catholic church) so with that being said the Catholic church is Christianity and the standard of it, the catholic church is pre-denominational. Then their wad schism in the 5th century at Ephesus where the Orientals broke off, they were mo longer apart of Christs Church, then in the 11th century eastern orthodoxy breaks off from The Catholic Church due to their theological errors and then in the 16th century Martin Luther broke away and founded protestantism, thus meaning all break away groups aren't apart of the body of Christ but rather schismatic. Those whom are Catholic are apart of the body of Christ for being in communion with his Church. Please don't get angry because this can be taken offensively, but this is why it's so important to be Catholic

    • @SaintAthanasius_Edits
      @SaintAthanasius_Edits  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @SaintAthanasius_Edits I understand what you say. I also know that the Catholic Church was the original church. But to say Christians are not part of the body of christ I don't agree with. I do believe there are certain church's that pull them selfs away with self interpretation, but to say the church as a whole is like me saying the catholic priest here in Australia that raped the little boys represent all the catholic church. It's not true
      I wasnt born into a church but in my 20s when I called to God to reveal himself to me it was through the protestant church he saved my life.
      I love all my brothers and sisters in christ and believe we should all unite together as one again even though we dont agree on different minor things. As long as Jesus is our lord and through his blood we are washed clean.
      I don't mean this as an attack on you or your channel but I see it's the world vs. Christianity and we shouldn't be against each other

    I converted from Protestantism over a decade ago, and I’ve continued to grow in conviction that Protestantism is false. But, respectfully, this video could use a redux.
    If I were Protestant, nothing about this video would make me even think of changing my mind. It feels like a self-congratulatory pat on the back. The Church’s sanctuaries and liturgies *are* great, but they’re NOT what makes Catholicism better than Protestantism, especially to the eyes of a Protestant who truly wants to follow the Lord, but is only shown the splendor of externals.

      It's simply an addition to inter denominational propaganda banter. As a former protestant I differ I believe these videos help me grew in my conviction but I was a young convert at age 13 I'm now 15 and us younger converts aren't interested in theology off the bat, these videos are made to show the zeal of the church which then draws one into learning theology.

I listened to it for years before turning to The Church. A lot of people don't see it that way and view it as "sigma male music" or "just a beat", when in reality it's insidious evil that's generalized or normalized because of its excessive use in edits/social media. Yeah, you should go to a confessional Lutheran congregation! You will see much care for the liturgy and the administration of Christ True Blood and Body taken very seriously. Law and Gospel rightly preached and a vulgar display of the orthodox faith.

    I’m not saying the Catholic faith is true but I’m genuinely curious if yall know where in the Bible it says to bring an incense thing swinging it around and worshipping the IMAGE of Christ. Like not gonna debate or argue just curious. And I heard yall worship Mary

      No body is between you and God in catholicism, God made the Catholic Church, we're pre denominational Christianity, God instituted the Pope Which is the succesor of Saint Peter, What "Pope " Mean is Bishop of Rome, The apostles are the original bishops and in fact the New Testament Explicitly names Bishops, Priests, Deacons. Catholics believe Peter is the most important apostle thus meaning Rome where he died is the most important See (See means Seat, Seat being the authority) We believe Peter is the most authoritative of the Apostles and this authority comes from Christ Matthew 16:18 Where Christ gives Peter the Keys of heaven and gives authority of Binding and loosing sins on heaven and in earth where as the other apostles were given The Authority of Binding and loosing sins only in Matthew 18:18 But also how you seek Christ is through his Church which he instituted and leads from 2000 years ago until now in 2024.
      If you Become Catholic don't do it for asthetic or look, Do it because there is no where else to go and the Catholic Church is the Yardstick of all Christianity and obtains the fullness of Truth revealed by Christ, I conclude with a Quote from Saint Ignatius of Antioch the early Church Father "Where you seek Christ, you fine the Catholic Church" Circa late 2nd Century. God Bless you Brother.
      Reference verse for Priests, Bishops and Deacons Listed Below:
      Philipians 1:1-2 "Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, to all the saints in Christ Jesus at Philippi, together with their bishops and deacons: 2 grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ."

      Well though I our Lord wants unity that may be established in one way, being part of his Holy Church in which he founded, I will say many Christians like to say "stop fighting about theology" I would disagree because the more you debate about something it shows the more you care about something, in this scenario it being Christianity and its important to know iron sharpens iron debates are healthy. Also I will do that suggestion such as a crucifixion edit or Station's of the Cross.

      @@SaintAthanasius_Edits I mean, the other issue is that Roman Catholics compare Catholicism (a specific Church) with a category (Protestantism) and they just throw a bunch of non-Roman Catholics into one pile and label them the same thing. Kenneth Copeland? A Protestant in any meaningful sense of what that term implies historically? I think not.
      But, we all do it. There are Confessional Lutheran channels out there that put videos together showing what Lutheranism is. And, they have representations of High Church parishes (one such I am the pastor of). However, of course, we have our own problems with people doing goofy stuff, just like Vat. II Roman Catholic parishes do goofy things. We all have problems.
