I wouldn’t put it past Healy to attach an emergency preamble to this bill. If she did it would be totally unjustified. I would hope that if she does, I would hope that an immediate lawsuit would be filed to stop her.
I tried to sign the petition yesterday at the Leicester Rod and Gun Club. I was informed that they had not yet received the petition forms and that when they do there are only two dates this month, the 18th and 25th with a 3 hour window to sign. I hope that this is not the case at other locations. If it is, it does not bode well to collect 50 thousand signatures by the deadline.
Funny how she doesn’t talk about how Brockton cops had to have Easton cops stop a armed chase where 4 teenagers all had possession of illegally owned firearms with high capacity magazines. A week after she signed the bill.
I dont think Healy is stupid enough to put a preamble on the law so far after its enactment. Shes not stupid and didnt get to her position like a rube like cackling Kamala did. Shes highly intelligent, highly motivated and highly ideological. She'll try to get her way by underhanded trickery and lawfare. A preamble at this point would get thrown out in court.

It's a dice roll. I think as of now her best bet is to wait and see if we get the minimum signature count, If we do I think she has a 50 50 shot at signing a preamble. The biggest downfall recently in the fight against gun control has been that generally speaking they overstretch and pay for it in court. From her position it's a bit of a gamble assuming we hit the minimum signature count. She can either wait the two years and put it on a ballot which personally I think we'll loose or put the preamble in and risk the legal battles that will follow while being in bad standing. Either way even if we loose the ballot measure It's gonna end up in court, But who knows for how long. Another thing to consider is that in two years time the supreme court could end up indirectly gutting the new bill since it's nothing that hasn't already been tried in multiple other states pending court decisions. Honestly the possibilities are endless good bad or indifferent. Really I think our best move now is to get the signatures and focus on the handgun roster case as it would really mess up the newest infringement and then I can get a hi point lol.

That’s just what they want is for you to move out of state. That makes more room for people who don’t know any better to move in. People from places like Asia where no matter how bad it gets from the America we knew, it’s still a smooth sailing sunny day picnic compared to what they came from. They’ll all follow the worst of orders and still think they’ve got it so great!

Go to a gun store instead. It don’t have to be at a specific club. Don’t use it as an excuse to not get your name down.
