great night this one! wet, windy and a QPR win, rangers had loads down the sides that night and when we all came out as one chelsea just did`nt really seem interested, funny that.......
I was at that gamr. When Qpr scored dont remember loads of Qpr jumping up. Didnt have loads in the away end. The biggest 2 sections was empty and the 2 middle sections Qpr had werent full. As for outside. Qor was kept in and Chelsea went home. Why would Chelsea be waiting for Qpr. Tbe 1 1 game at Qpr. Was a 27k sellout with Chelsea on all 4 sides at least 15.000 and Qpr had no problems with Chelsea in the Loft the 2 side stands and the away end.
I was a neutral there in the Shed, but wanting QPR to win and keeping quiet! I remember at the end of the game when the home fans were expecting that 2nd goal to be disallowed and their frustration when it was given!

Chelsea had 15.000 at Qpr first game 27k. Was 27k at Chelsea. Was loads of Chelsea side seats and loads in the Shed. So Qpr had a few in the seats it werent thousands like Chelsea at Qpr.
This was the match which effectively ended Eddie Niedzwiecki's career. He received a s serious knee injury late in the game in a collision with ex-Chelsea centre half Steve Wicks (not shown here). He made a couple of attempts at brief comebacks but was never the same again and had to retire from the game in 1989. But for this injury, he would have gone on to be possibly Chelsea's greatest-ever 'keeper - as good as Bonetti or Cech.
I see the best that the defeated fans can come up with is the tired old "we've got more fans than you" line. Man City fans had a lot more class after losing the Cup final to Wigan.

Was well over 20k Chelsea at this game Shed and Side seats. Should have been 10.000 Qpr not an away end over half empty. Was no trouble in the ground and in the seats so how many Qpr in seats. Not sire but they never showed themselves when they scored. I know Qpr got 15k for Liverpool the semi final at home only 23k the away game.
QPR don't seem to beat Chelsea a lot at Stamford Bridge. The victory last season was their first in how many years? I think you'd have to go back to the 1980's cause they didn't win there in the whole of the 90's and only played Chelsea again recently.

Not true about Eddue N. This was the 85/86 season. He was playing first team games for Chelsea 87/88 so 2 years later.
