  • An excerpt from a DVD telling the history of Letterkenny through the words of the people who grew up in it. Featuring interviews with the original residents of the oldest houses in letterkenny, including Ballymacool Row, Ard Colmcille, Rosemount, Ard O'Donnell (the Burma), the Oldtown, Lower Main Street (the Foot of the Town), and College Row. Also features a selection of rare old photographs, and poetry by John Blake.

    Placing people is very important in rural Ireland. It's nice to see these people again, many of whom have passed on to their eternal reward.

    Wow they knew everyone in their town. I don't even know my neighbors name. I hate city life.
