tons of thanks holodroid ..for making me see ISS...thanks a lot ..its beautiful & wonderful to see & so your skillful hand to this task that captured it so well in surprisingly 7 sec. of time frame that you managed skillfully to capture detail as well which looks nearly impossible to manage in such a tiny 7 sec, keep it up dude
if you are an amateur & freaky & just awesomely enthusiast in space exploration & non-space engineering professional ....i think with this capture you deserve NASA's comment certainly
Cliff Curtis You do realise that the ISS is traveling at 17,000 miles an hour right? The guy who shot this did a really good job, and you would know why it's so blurry if you had any understanding of how telescopes actually work. If you have doubts, get a telescope and look for yourself. If you tell me you won't get one because you are not going to waste money on somthing you don't believe in, then your being intellectually dishonest and have no reason to give your opinion on somthing you have given no effort to research for yourself. Enjoy the rest of your day being willfully ignorant.
***** We've had great tracking technologies for a long time and this object is far enough away that we should have been able to watch shuttle docking from many angles and cameras around the world. Guess what? We could then CONFIRM what these NASA people say they're doing. All their "images" of cosmic objects are CGI while being unable to prove having ever even gone into "space" means we got a problem. You are a fool if you trust NASA to be telling the truth about anything.
Cliff Curtis They prove they are in space every day Ignoring and denying the evidence doesnt mean theres no evidence I have seen the ISS with my 6 inch newtonian and it moved on the sky exactly as it should was it in orbit So I know it exists
According to Google - The International Space Station travels in orbit around Earth at a speed of roughly 17,150 miles per hour (that's about 5 miles per second!). This means that the Space Station orbits Earth (and sees a sunrise) once every 92 minutes! And people are attempting to make us believe that they can follow the ISS at that speed? HA!! This is nothing but cartoons.
Lots of people have ISS video captures on YT. Free tracking software even tells you well in advance exactly where and when the ISS can be spotted at your location. It's not terribly difficult if you apply yourself.

Wow. It's amazing how much detail there is.
