My dad has two of those. Maybe a little newer. One is a Miller bobcat, one is a wild cat. His you don't have to switch cords around, you just turn a switch and the throttle is auto. One has the onan performer 16, one performer 20. Those things run forever, and are some of the best welders out there.
Hey brother. I was watching one of your older videos with the almond sweeper. I’m looking into getting a similar machine. Is it still doing the job for you guys. I’m looking to get it for my 20 acres
The machine works fine still. The Flory machine is a 7640 gas engine. I would get a 6640 machine. The more narrow head fits better in 19 or 20 rows. The down side to the machine is the blower power. As long as the field is almost weed free and flat the blower is good enough. Good luck with your purchase
YOU PLUG IT IN THE PLUG HEAT RANGE THAT WORKS BEST FOR WHAT YOUR WELDLING AND HOW MUTCH HEAT YOU NEED YOUR WELDER IS A SIPMPEL LESS MOVING PARTS TANK IT IS BEFORE REOSTATIC AMP CONTROLL

That is good to know that the engines last forever.
How do you know if the engine is a 16 or a 20?
It is nice I just buy a Lilcon with the same engine
How does the Lincoln weld. What does the exhaust system look like on your welder? The machine I have is open piped and very loud.

Bought my Miller bobcat with a p216 09 on it 28 years ago still fires up first select runs all day weld all night
That is great to hear that these Miller welders last a long time.
What is your trick to getting that many years with your welder?

Just a hint let the welder run at low speed for a while after welding before you shut the engine off .
I never thought of running on low power as a cool down method.
How long should I run the welder on low?

It is a very simple machine. I am surprised that a welder of it's age is able to continue welding.
