Often these conversations is not the base of his topic. And 100% of the time he doesn't talk about the trinity or Jesus divine nature. He never mentions it at all. When I started learning studying nt Greek, we began with John. I was wrecked for a week because of the depth of truth contained in that first verse. Knowing Greek and researching what is applicable is completely different.

It will give clear understanding of the trinity even in the Old Testament which the masses refute therefore trying to deny the trinity in the New Testament. It is in the New Testament that the tri-unity of GOD is revealed completely.

I do also know that a fair number of the folks who were prophesying a Trump presidency have similar views. It truly highlights the importance of not putting man on a pedestal. As an upcoming Greek linguist I was very excited to see your utilization and explanation of the Greek in John 1:1 as a matter of fact, for my Greek course in my B.A. we had to do a verse study and I just so happen to choose John 1:1. And I couldn’t agree more. in John 1:1, the usage of word theos is used in the context of ‘the’ God rather than ‘a’ god. How this is described is based on the function of the word. When the word theos is used as the object and the linking verb connects the two different nouns together as if they are the same thing making it what’s called the nominative case. Where one is the subject and the other one is what’s called the predicate noun. Since the subject does not have a definite article with the word Theos in John 1:1, it is why the usage shows it to be God and not just a god. Would love to chat with you some time if I could ever get the chance to talk on some other studies studies my friend actually compilled together who I think is onto somethin. My field of interest is the NT reliability and textual criticism and am currently in my masters for NT. Much appreciation for your work.
It's very odd that Brandon even mentioned James White, and it also showed his ignorance on this subject as James White wrote 'The Forgotten Trinity' in1998. He discusses how understandable the Trinity is and why it matters. Yes he does talk about Christian topics but most of the time its a glance over subject that's always tide to a political viewpoint. Often these conversations is not the base of his topic. And 100% of the time he doesn't talk about the trinity or Jesus divine nature. He never mentions it at all. It will give clear understanding of the trinity even in the Old Testament which the masses refute therefore trying to deny the trinity in the New Testament. I do also know that a fair number of the folks who were prophesying a Trump presidency have similar views. It truly highlights the importance of not putting man on a pedestal. Christ is the True God made flesh, and is the only one guaranteed to not mislead us.

a) you have no idea why I believe in the Trinity. Anthony was not born believing - he heard the Gospel while in prison, and assessed it and found it to make logical sense and has studied and believed ever since. I personally am from the UK yet became a Christian in India - witnessed to by native Indians. As a scientist who likes evidence and am always testing and questioning, I continue to find that the best explanation for life the universe and everytihng is a creator God, and that the evidence of the Bible and the non-Christian documents have convinced me that Jesus rose from the dead and therefore must be God. I wonder if you have systematically worked through these questions and read the literature and listened to debates of Christians vs Muslims or Atheists or Jews ... or if you have blindly disbelieved. I make no assumptions about you because I know nothing about you.
b) your comment implyies I was commenting on his emotional state and spiritual wellbeing, which I clarly wasn't. I was hoping Brandon would think for himself and intelligently consider all the things Anthony had said in a non-arrogant way. I care that people like you and he do consider the evidence and listen openly to difference sides of the argument, as I have done, before you conclude.

Though, let me qualify my last statement. One could, for instance, be in over their head, philosophically speaking against (a) Unitarian who is more philosophically savvy but be right about the Trinity. In regards to Tatum he was both in over his head and wrong.

As an upcoming Greek linguist I was very excited to see your utilization and explanation of the Greek in John 1:1 as a matter of fact, for my Greek course in my B.A. we had to do a verse study and I just so happen to choose John 1:1. And I couldn’t agree more. in John 1:1, the usage of word theos is used in the context of ‘the’ God rather than ‘a’ god. How this is described is based on the function of the word. When the word theos is used as the object and the linking verb connects the two different nouns together as if they are the same thing making it what’s called the nominative case. Where one is the subject and the other one is what’s called the predicate noun. Since the subject does not have a definite article with the word Theos in John 1:1, it is why the usage shows it to be God and not just a god.
Would love to chat with you some time if I could ever get the chance to talk on some other studies studies my friend actually compilled together who I think is onto somethin. My field of interest is the NT reliability and textual criticism and am currently in my masters for NT.

It's very odd that Brandon even mentioned James White, and it also showed his ignorance on this subject as James White wrote 'The Forgotten Trinity' in1998. He discusses how understandable the Trinity is and why it matters. I actually emailed him today and gave him this information in the hopes that if he trusts Mr. White, maybe he would be more willing to listen.
