Hey Justin you have taught me so much about guitar I'm only 11 yrs and I played songs that you taught me and I mastered them. you inspired me. THANK YOU :)
7 years ago I picked up my first guitar, knowing jack shit of what I held in my hands. Sweet Child O mine was the first damn song I learnt, and Mr. Justin Sandercoe here taught me how.
Nice! Question Justin? What’s your take on Epiphone SG’s it’s the only one I have that is an SG I don’t have any other electrics other than my Fender my mom got me is Fender and Epiphone good brands cuz my amp is also a Fender . It’s the only 1 I have I have a small Marshall but it’s so tiny it runs on a 9 v battery. No lie my iPhone 12 Pro max is bigger than it lol. Can I make my Fender amp sound like Angus or Malcolm? It’s a small fender amp but it plays good and I am a beginner player.
Wow, been playing along with AC/DC lessons for the last few days. It has been so goddamn enjoyable to finally be in a place where I can play all the songs I been playing air guitar to for the last 35 years or more. Just got to retrain my brain to visualize the sweet spots in real life, and since it is largely in the first position chords all I have to do is watch and play. Very Cool and keep putting up some more lessons! Thank you Justin!
Justin I'm 31 years old started playing at 25 years old. Man you are the best I take lessons at a local shop called Monster Music. So it's only one day a week then I go on your page to learn faster been slacking off but your vids are truly helping me. I hope I'm not the only adult learning how to play cause I would love to perform some day in my life. Thanks for doing all this Justin if I had money I would donate maybe some day I will.
+Vincenzo Marraro people are just unapreciative of everything nowadays! We have all technology in the world, yet some people still show no gratefulness whatsoever. A sad thing, but whatever. Thank you Justin!
Hi Justin, Your lessons are really sensationally good! You explain everything so that it is easy to understand and achieve quick results. Thanks a thousand and keep it up! Greetings from Germany, John
WOOOOWWWW!!! Your lessons are fantastics!!!! I'm an Italian 15 years old guy that loves English and AC/DC and I assure you that I understood everything at the first time!!! 😁😁 I'm very happy!! Thank you so much!!! Bye! :)
Thanks Justin, I started playing in the early 80's in a high school band (we weren't that good haha), fast forward 30+ years, picked up the guitar again and just trying to re-learn some songs, and play them correctly. I've watched lots of guys on YT showing how to play AC/DC and you are by far the best at "Getting it Right" haha, thanks keep up the battle, Cheers
Thanks my friend !! You're a great teacher. I've mastered this one and "The Jack" from your lessons. And I've only been playing for 2 years. Cheers !!!
I have seen this played many ways, especially the intro. The way that you show here is probably the most popular, but playing it at the lower registry with open strings is not a bad way either, and it has a darker, more open sound because of all the open strings. But a great choice to teach. That guitar is a great nod to Malcolm Young. As a matter of fact, his DuoJet has only one humbucker in the bridge and a sock in the neck! Magic.
Justin you really are getting into the groove when you play! And I like the sound, it's perfectly fitting acdc sound! Appreciate your videos man! Thumbs up :)
The one he´s playing is a G6131SMY Malcolm Young I, they don´t have a picture of it on their site though.. They also have another Malcolm Young signature, the : G6131MYF Malcolm Young II. Hope this helps.
Justin been enjoying and appreciating your lessons for a couple of years. Thanks. Can I ask that you include amp settings for us novices to get that AC/DC or Kiss or "band" sound. I think getting the sound right is critical to wanting to learn a song. Thanks a mint.
awsome guitar justin! could you tell us what it is, i can't seem to find it on the gretch site. (could be i'm just blind and looking over it). Also glad you are back to the rock lessons but it is a good thing you make lessons for all of us ofcorse Greetings from Belgium

It is indeed a Gretsch Malcolm Young Model I (G6131). It sounds great and plays great, a simple and totally awesome guitar.
Looks great Justin. How come yours hasnt got the empty pick up recesses?
Question what are the sound settings on getting that classic AC/DC sound?
