    I like how Justin is always teaching the proper timing. That's something lacking in most of other lessons.

    • @armcannon3160
      @armcannon3160 9 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      I completely agree, the timing is key and this is a frequently misplayed riff in particular. I've seen at least half a dozen people play the E minor pentatonic lick a 16th note too early.

    I really enjoy your instructional lessons that challenges us to listen and figure parts out ourselves. Your strumming count-outs have really helped me a lot to get the ACDC chord timing.

    That "simple" E minor pentatonic lick had me frustrated as heck until you explained the timing. I've watched many tutorials on this song but you are the first to truly get through to my thick skull on it. Thank you.

    This was an excellent lesson, timing has always been a challenge for me, this helped a lot. One important point that wasn't mentioned enough is to use your thumb on the neck hand to mute the lower "E" string during many of the chords. It was mentioned early on in the lesson, but I found it crucial to achieve the proper sound throughout the song. Good teacher, and explained every step nice and slow. I learned more from this lesson than many others, great job!

I spend 30 mins. on website lessons and the rest on your youtube vids. Sore fingers every night but well worth it, wanted to learn all my life, thanks for helping fulfill my dream. +jperryfan the 2 -7th fret stretch is not bad at all, Keep in mind you are only fingering the 5th or 7th for a moment and not a full note or anything like that, plus your 1st finger does not have to remain on the 2nd fret.

    I feel like the bridge riff, the one demonstrated at about :51 and then detailed at about 12:52, is missing a couple notes. I don't know of a better way to explain it, but when I hear you play "1234 12 34 56" I feel like it should go "123456 12 34 56". Thoughts? Great video otherwise!!! Very helpful indeed! Also, as a request. please make sure you're tuned. I liked your video best, but to play along, I had to re(un)tune my guitar a bit...a pain on a guitar with a trem. Thank you so much!!

    Great lesson. The thing I'm wondering: on the main riff, I thought at least one rhythm guitar was playing the A chord with a C sharp root note (A string 4th fret). Maybe it's just the bass guitar playing that note though, I don't know.
