Horizon Hobby recommends a CG that is WAAAAYYY to far forward which leads to an aircraft that will not (comfortably) slow down on landing. Mine also wanted a good dose of down thrust. She WILL slow down once those things are worked out.
Was that the factory CG? Because she looked a bit nose heavy, tail wheel was barely staying on the ground even while taxiing. Combine that with a fast landing and you go nose over 😞
Yes, that was the factory CG! You are absolutely right. I will have to correct the centre of gravity significantly here in the future. First, however, I will repair the plane. That is my winter project. 🙂
Du solltest zuerst mit kleineren und leichteren Fliegern fliegen lernen. Grosse Flieger vertragen keine schwere Fehler. Noch einen Tip, jeder Flieger mit rechtsdrehenden Prop bricht beim Start nach links aus. Man kann das mit Seitenruder nach rechts aussteuern
in so einem Fall MUSS der Prop brechen - & nicht der komplette Motordom - man erkennt deutlich schlechtes Holz, schwache Verleimungen, keine schlüssigen Kraftübertragungen...
