- Introduction
Designed by revolutionary aerobatic plane designer Curtis Pitts, the Pitts S-2B was one of the many variations of the S1 and S2 aerobatic biplanes. During the 1960s and 1970s, the Pitts biplanes were a major force during world aerobatic competitions.

I've just buy one, could you please show some photos of the DLE55 installed on this model. Thanks
sorry but i have no info on this model dominique
Nice flights and filming! Currently building this plane with a dle 55 ra. I assume he has the same engine? Can’t wait to finish it and fly her! love you’re vids!
many thanks rob, good luck with her m8
Does that motor fit in without cutting out the cowling?
Well you need to have the cowl open enough to let the air cool the engine. For the most part yes the engine fits inside the cowl. Just the exhaust and the spark plug wire stick out
spot on, thanks for the info 👍
Looks like Barkston Heath ?? My local flying club as I live in Grantham not been up there for few years as I laid off the hobby for 15 years hoping to start back next year nice pits Special by the way
miles away mick, the clues in the title and video description
Did the gear really bend after the first landing? If so it doesn’t seem so sturdy
Great airplane. Any footage of the Rafale in the back?
yep somewhere in my archives
Yeah the old guy had a much smoother landing than the dude that took over during the first flight.
The engine runs a little bid loud.
