What a MASTERFUL performance. So impressive, a real joy to to see and to listen. I felt your incredible expressions in the music along with the control and amazing technique. And to think you did it all at a live performance. B R A V O ! ! !
@vivacenontroppo If you think so, then you are a little less aware of the tradition that Tarrega came from, than you could be. For one, Tarrega wanted to express the Spanish culture and the different regions (with this piece especially), and Tarrega had an endless appetite for operatic type improvisation.
he was very liberal with the structure of the piece, playing the variations in his own order. As for the dramatic pauses and ad lib progressions, I assure you that Tarrega would have loved it.
No me gustó.
I have no idea what you just mean there, and it seems evident to me that you haven't read a method by Tarrega. The composer endorsed that kind of musicality. Maybe it seems "over-interpreted" to you. That case could certainly be made in that
OML!! I hate hate this music!!! Bcz it made me crazy and. Shame on me. GG greatest Gran Jota. All other guitarists who wants to play should listen amazing, Best of Best!!! Any one disagrees, re listen!! Again.
What's to say? I've heared and seen better performances. A good idea would be to get your guitar in tune before you start. It's not properly tuned as is obviously clearly to be noticed in the arpeggio part.
I agree. And, that's just the start of why I don't like it. He's messed about with the piece far too much. It's like pinning a donkey's tail on one of Da Vinci's paintings.

@Lukecash12 so you think that tarrega used some pauses just by a mistake? cuz he dont care about that.

Snare Drum Effect the Classical Guitar Way.

Aldo plays this song as if he invented it himself. Masterpiece.
i think tarrega would't be proud of this interpetation. it's overinterpreted.

No, that's not what Tarrega wrote. It's been completely dismembered, and it's a travesty.
