    Thanks for the video. I was impressed with the SawStop manual and used your video for a few things. Thanks.

    What a great video! The 59-page instruction manual overwhelmed me. It still took me 3 hours to put together, but it was much easier to pause and rewind 59 times than read and comprehend 59 pages. Thaks so much!

    You saved my bacon. I have no ability to see the big picture that allows me to put stuff like this together. Your "6th hole to the 3rd hole" explanation made it possible. THANK YOU for taking the time to make this video!

    This is a very tedious installation (and I've put a lot of equipment together in the past). Most of Sawstop's instructions are pretty good, the written instructions for this product are an exception (not so good). Thanks so much for this demo. Your tutorial was invaluable.

    Great video, I have owned the Saw Stop Outfeed table for over a year, but dreaded putting it together. Your video was easy to follow. Wish I had found it a year ago.

    Thanks for taking the time to go though the install. I plan on getting the PCS 3HP Saw with this outfeed table. I have seen some reviews that talk about the outfeed interfering with dust collection.

    • @WoodAndShop
      @WoodAndShop  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Awesome! Nope, no problem with the dust collection. You just need to pull out your dust hose when you lower or raise the outfeed table, and then replace it. That takes a total of 2 seconds.

    READ the instructions, was disappointed with the poor diagrams. Found your tutorial and it cleared a lot of things up. Just put it together this afternoon. The 5mm Allen wrench with the kit is magnetic and helps drop the bolts through the tube. Thanks for a great video....I subscribed.

    Its Saturday and Im smack dab in the middle of assembling the outfeed table for my ICS. Of course Sawstop support is available on weekends so I thought Id ask you. Hope you see this before the weekend is out. Im in the beginning stage of assembly here. I'm assembling part A and the table insert along with the roller bearings. Ive had a devil of a time getting the table insert to be flush or just below the two part A table support rods. I finally figured out that the roller tube assembly was sticking up just proud of the table support bars. So I got out my calipers and low and behold the holes that the roller support assembly mount to are not perfectly centered in the bar. I get .356 and .406 when measuring from the inside of the mounting hole to the outside of the bar(top and bottom of the bar in relation to top and bottom of hole) hope you follow. I have the table support bars oriented the correct way with the large double holes on the bottom. Do your roller tube assemblies sit just PROUD of the bars?

    Looks like a handy addition to your saw. I don’t have a Saw Stop, but being a metal fabricator, I now know how to make one. I have 2 table saws that sit back to back and act as an outfeed table for each other. Thanks!

    I just added this to my PCS. It is very nice but a pain to assemble. I don’t know why I didn’t search for this. I would have bought some wood stock to set up the assembly area like you did. It would have made it much easier. Also your tip turning the tubes in their side to attach the clamps is inspired !
    Anyway very good video and the product is great.

    Great video. I am surprised that the width of the solid portion of the outfeed is so narrow. Have you had many occasions when your cut falls between the rails? Not an issue for large sheets but I frequently am pushing a narrow cut off the table with a push stick that would appear to go between the rails. It looks like you could fill the void with a dimensional piece of wood and screw it to the tubular extensions that run parallel to the table. That alone tends to make me opt for building my own.

    Thanks, this video should be linked in SawStops Instructions. It was a fairly long assembly using the instructions, followed by your video for clarification at each step. It would have taken me twice as long without this video. Sawstop should have put colored/numbered stickers where parts line up. I also didn't like the clamp system and getting it flush with the table. They should have come up with an easier method to fine tune, vs taking things apart to rearrange washers.. Removing 1 washer was too much, I ended up having to shim the clamps with edge banding and playing cards.

    Yeah SawStop made the manual and assembly waaaayyy to difficult to comprehend, they just over complicated somethings that didn't need to be.
    Thank you so much for this video, I used it in conjunction with the manual but ultimately gave up on the manual and referred only to you! Bang up job 👏

    Folks may want to know that the extension table will not fold down all the way if you have the Industrial base. Because of that, you can not move your fence across the table thus limiting the use of the saw without raising the outfeed table. The tubing protrudes up far enough to interfere with the fence movement unless it is fully 90-degrees with the saw top.

    Nice video! Helped me out a lot! Only concern is the lighting is low and tends to obscure/shadow the view when putting together certain small components!

    It looks like the dust collection hose would be trapped in the table. or the table would rest on the hose when folded down?

    Excellent video--Thank you! I'm wondering how this works with the 4 inch dust collector hose clamped in place... Does the the outfield table go completely flat to the back of the saw, or does the dust collector hose prevent that? Thank you!

    • @afanofdieselengines675
      @afanofdieselengines675 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The outfeed table does not fold completely flat against the back of the saw. (PCS on Industrial base). The dust collector will have to be disconnected when raising and lowering the table. (Time for Rockler quick connect?)

    SawStop should provide a link to this video. While SawStop does a great job of compartmentalizing their hardware for use, I do not know I would have had the success assembling this with the instruction book and NO video. It cut the assemble time in half. Thanks

    Hi, What does the far side of the fence ride on now? seems to be just grinding on the cast iron with no ability to align horizontally?

    • @WoodAndShop
      @WoodAndShop  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Peter, by "far side" I assume you mean the side I stand on to cut. That's the side where the fence rides. There's a bar on that side that the fence clamps to.

    • @TheCentronsg1
      @TheCentronsg1 4 ปีที่แล้ว
