    For example had you add
    1. Spanish
    2. French
    3. Italian
    4. Chinese
    And select maybe 2, then be able to fill those out?

    In a Test Maze- I have added sections and when a person chooses a answer, which then they go to a different section with an alternate set of questions . How do I make the form not grade or deduct points from the section that was skipped? So in your example if the Spanish section was worth 10 points and the French worth 10 points, the overall score will be 10 points less because the section that was skipped.

    hey there, how are u ?
    .
    i need doing a form to choose best workers in our crew from total 200 emplyees to top 5 coming across funneling, we have many employees.. and i was thinkin to creat a form that is possible:
    .
    1. create a list of employees names;
    .
    leaders will mark top 20 best ones and the second questions would starting in just that 20 they marked...do you know?
    .
    and on each question the form will doing a funnel until get the top5 employees.. do you know some model or way to do it in google forms ?

    • @ttvRussell
      @ttvRussell  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use Google Forms to create a multi-step form where leaders initially select the top 20 employees from a list, and then subsequent questions further narrow down to the top 5 through a process of elimination.

    This is an amazing job Russell. One thing I want to have more clarification about: what's the problem of limiting the form to one response only? I've got the idea of controlling it by the name and the email address, but I think I still need more information why it's not preferred to limit it to one response.

    • @ttvRussell
      @ttvRussell  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question, Dean Feldman. I can understand how if you are a business, you might want to remove the "Google Forms" branding all over the place. This makes it seem as if the form appears to be coming from Google instead of your company. I believe this can't be changed. However, if you are OK with coding, then this more technical help offers a solution when you embed your survey on your website: www.gadgetcouncil.com/remove-powered-by-google-docs-in-google-forms/

      "To narrow down your list of 200 employees to the top 20 in 4 questions using Google Forms:
      Use 'Sections' in Google Forms for each question.
      Set up 'Skip Logic' based on responses to previous questions.
      Create a new section for each round of selection.
      Define conditions in 'Settings' to route respondents based on their answers.
      This way, you can gradually filter down to the top 20 employees based on their selections. No extensions or hacks needed!"

  • @srider33
    @srider33 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    A lot more opportunities when you start to consider Google App Scripts. You can drive your questions in Excel to give different students different quizes, or only certian random questions.
    My biggest Form pet-peeve is the inability to get a numeric response for clicking (i.e. with a mouse click -- not simply number validation). In other words, users can use mouse or have numeric input (for phone) to enter something like 55. At the moment, they have to use the full key range, which stinks especially for mobile users. If you get that cracked... you are awesome. Nice vidoe though. Good for teachers.

    • @ttvRussell

      Yes, I do that all the time. Just create a simple form in Google Forms asking for name, surname and email address. Share it around and people can submit their details. The only thing you need to point out is that they click on 'submit another response'. You can also create a form, add the link to Tiny URL to make it shorter and then write that on the board and everyone in the room can access the link that way.

      That's true, actually. The question is not worded very well, I agree. This is quite old now this video. Please check out some newer ones on Google Forms here: bit.ly/2VFOkoS
