boy... what a numbnuts to not test and confirm the oil pump is working ? ! nice job ... great learning experience..and hard to find a better motor to work or better project to work on. This was me when I was 12 !

nightmaregizmo haha. gunna need more than luck. Im working on a 55 and when i pulled the bottom oil pan i swear it had the original oil from 55 in it. The sludge was nearly an inch thick in some spots

lol well best part is its all very easy to work on i even shocked my self on how well everything came out good luck
hope you will clean up your valves, seats, and guides while you are in there.
You need a parts Book and a shop Book
