I am very pleased to hear that. I have built almost a dozen of these benches now to give as gifts and so far no complaints other than the finish wears out after about 2 years.

Nice project and well explained. One question please, what is the angle of the back? I mean the angle between seat (horizontal) and the back. The way you make the cut does not refer to angle. I can sketch it with dimensions you give and find out but if you already know you will help me.

The angle of the back is 76 deg. to the horizontal or 14 deg. to the vertical. Did you see the dropbox link to the plans above?
