5000 series got it's name because high-end builds will set you back 5000 bucks. Instead of tinkering around with their relatively tiny cooling design AIO solution would be more advantageous.

The box is very Apple which is a weird thing to say… I like the 5090 because it shows what’s possible at the high end and that’s about it, the card I’m most interested in is the 5080 or even the 5070ti and I’m hoping some of the tech here trickles down there like the cooler they have on it or the angled power connection or the newer 16 pin adapter

So 5090 including energy bills for 4 years 4h a day will cost you $2000+ $183 (UK bills) = ~2200 vs 1600. 5090 will cost 37% more than 4090 for 30% more fps. So you can buy 4090 and have 21fps in Cyberpunk or buy 37% more expensive 5090 and have 27fps. Never trust Nvidia's marketing.

The reason why the 5090 is a bad upgrade over the 4090 is because the 4090 was the full GPU, but the 5090 is a cut down version of the Titan AI.
I think the smartest thing is to invest in presales like Adaxum, that will launch in following months and catch the peak of the cycle.

I don't have an ATX 3.1 PSU but the new flexible power adapter gives me more confidence using my 1000W ATX 2.0 with the 5000 series.
