Super long extensions for those hard to reach bolts at the top. When its done at the shop we use extensions some times 6 feet long. What ever it takes but cutting tools is not nessary
HEY BRO THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP I WORK BY MY SELF ON MY TRUCK AND GUESS WHAT FOLLOWING YOUR VIDEO I REPLACE THE TRANSMITION ON MY 2002 YUKON I SAVE TONS OF MANY PLUS I LEARN SOMETHING NEW MY CAR DRIVES LIKE CHAMPS. I ALLREADY SUBSCRIBE TO YOUR CHANEL THANKS AGAIN.
O2 sensors unplug. No need to remove. The passenger side exhaust can stay. Only real benefit of removing it is getting a ratchet vs wrench on the torque converter bolts. Simple fix, remove oil filter. There’s not much on the passenger side of the tranny except the dipstick, exhaust mount and lines. Lines have quick connects. Remove the t case bolts that go to the transmission…reasoning is the rubber seal can be re used. If you undo the set further back you’ll be finding/buying a gasket. You do need a stubby 15 wrench or a cheapo cut in half for the top bolt. No way around this. This job SUCKS. Enjoy.
I think extensions would have come in handy...im about to take one out of my truck so thanks for the vidgeo
Good luck, hopefully yours goes smoothly!

Great vid, thanks for taking the time!
People don't realize, when you film while you work, it makes the job take 2-3 times as long.
Ya, this job destroyed me, and thanks to the power of editing, you can hardly tell!

Glad it helped and worked out for you!
Never use an impact to remove exhaust bolts or nuts! You will mess it up every time!
