So I'm building the courage to try your wonderful techniques. To confirm...on the Amsterdam paints you used your 5:1 ratio of pouring medium of American floetrol and gac 800, correct?
Hi Calli! I can’t wait to see what you make!!! And you are correct! 5:1 ratio so I add 5 ounces of the floetrol/GAC 800 pouring medium to 1 ounce paint. I prefer Amsterdam, Winsor & Newton and Liquitex. I love golden acrylics but for this particular technique they are too pigmented and will take over the painting. I also mix a big batch of the pouring medium so I have 64 ounces. It consists of 32 ounces floetrol and 32 ounces GAC 800. If GAC 800 isn’t available then I have used the Golden Gloss Pouring Medium it the Liquitex Gloss Medium with the green label. I hope this helps!!!

One more thing please...did you wait after you sprayed the lime and blue before placing round wood piece?
Yes I waited for it to dry which is about 15 to 20 minutes depending on the spray you use
