    I’m a legal assistant at an entertainment law firm that works with Mexican artists like Peso Pluma, Banda El Recodo and Fuerza Regida. I love it and have been thinking about law school. So glad I found your channel, excited to continue to see your journey!

    Hello. I just found your channel while looking for Probate laws in Canada..you have really great true to life content. The first months are going to test you, but stay the line and you will get past them. You will find the rhythm. Most important thing is not to forget your health and wellbeing. Make it happen. You can do it!!!

      I forgot to ask. What is you Cats name?. Please introduce your cat in a video sometime. When I was in University my cat Maddy was instrumental in reducing the stress of studies.

    Hi! What are some things / ideas that we can talk about to our mentors when it comes to being a law student?

    • @thelegaldiaries
      @thelegaldiaries  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on if your mentor is practicing what you want to practice one day. I think if they are then it’s good to ask what their day to day routine in their position looks like, what was the best thing they did in their career to get to that point, what was one of their biggest regrets, how did they know they wanted to pursue that type of law, what the most important skill to have is for that type of law, etc. If they aren’t practicing what you are interested in then I’d say the best questions would be ones that are broad, like do they have any tips for law school, what do they recommend in terms of internships/jobs, if they have any specific tips about practicing in a specific area, etc. Some people might think that’s getting ahead of yourself, but I think that all of those questions would help me in deciding what type of law to pursue!
