That was so sweet of Gary to buy that older woman flowers for her birthday...he didn't even know her, but knew she was alone & he wanted to make her happy for her birthday...such a sweet & kind gesture...brought tears to my eyes. I'm 74 & I'm alone...I know if someone did that with me, I'd cry for sure, but they would be happy tears. Bless you Gary!! The young gentlemen's answer to, if they know about love & have them been in love, was precious!! I hope they find real love too!!

My husband notice me having back and chest pains insisted I go to the Dr., I had a massive heart attack, I shouldn’t be here. Then during the pandemic he had to have the same operation. I had to drop him off and go home, the site of him walking into the hospital by himself, will never ever leave me. He survived.

Were i live they would have had to airlift you to another country for treatment.. so i can relate.
I had to see my dad fly off & not being able to be there for him (there is no space in the chopper for any passangers like in an ambulance). He also had a heart attack, he had it for days & refused to go to hospital. Insisted on going to work for days..my mom finally didnt accept that & forced him to the ER.. I had to stand there by the helipad by myself. Seeing my dad being airlifted to uppsala in sweden. Thats a 4h trip with ferry & buss/car.
My friend had to watch his GF be flown off to the mainland to Turku, (thats over 5h one way trip by ferry). When they were about to get their first child bcs of major complications. Imagine being alone in a hospital you never been in & you dont speak the language so you are REALLY isolated. And on top of that you are about to have your first child. Alone. Not being able to speak to nurses or anyone. Being scared to death for your child not making it..
I live on an island in the middle, straight between sweden & finland.
We have a great hospital, with an ER etc but it's hard to get staff. So we often have to airlift patients to either finland or sweden for the specialised care.. it costs a fortune, but it's neccesary
My sister also had her long awaited first born during the pandemic. she gave birth at our local hospital & only the father was allowed to be there. As long as he didnt leave. They told us nothing, all of a sudden we got pictures of this sweet little newborn baby boy to our phones.. she didnt need to be airlifted thankfully. We do have maturnity wards. But if there is complications esp at night or weekends and the OR is already in use (we only have 1 team at night/weekends) and often there is no time to wait for them to finish so then we have to fly you to either Uppsala or Turku.
You & your husband would both have gotten a trip to sweden bcs all hert related are sent there. Rest goes to the mainland-finland & Turku.

He helps people with chronic pain caused by things like fibromyalgia, CRPS, cancer and the like, it’s a little different when your shoulder is so severely shattered that your shoulder blade is broke too, then given a horse tranquilizer so the bones can be reset, a pain so intense that people pass out from it. Maybe stop being a tool, and realize this man also avoided ruining his wife and daughters trip abroad, he had no one by his side to comfort him. Wow, I feel so much disgust with these arrogant and highly judgmental comments, never have I ever seen so much self entitlement.
As a person that suffers from chronic illness and that has benefitted from meditation, and techniques to cope, I’m grateful for people like John. I can’t imagine comparing my daily headaches, and constant back pain to a torturous motorcycle accident. The world is nuts, I hate how ridiculous society has gotten. I guess John needs to learn manner whilst coming off of ketamine and dealing with level 10 pain. This is the

If I were that wife...oh boy. Teaching our children to hide important information from me, I think the f#$% not! I don't care how old they are, big important things like car accidents and hospitalizations. Yea no. Add to it his "profession" No sympathy. I hope his wife reamed him and established clear boundaries on that one.

My husband rides a bike. I have learned over our 43 years to trust in theLord no matter what happens. My husbands loves riding and I’ll never take it from him .

Why? Because he asked a more experienced doctor to provide a serious pain killer? That's not useless, that's responsible.

@@annaroy1694 It's not that. I agree that it is responsible to ask someone else to provide the medication but he had no idea how to speak to the patient and just seemed to shift the responsibility. He could have asked the other doctor for recommendation and administer the medication himself.
