Ordered my new 2015 LIMITED in January and received in April. I could of bought any SUV out there. I wanted captain's chairs instead of the 3 row seat, 22 inch rims and the grey. None of the dealers had this vehicle in stock. It came out so beautiful!!! Glad I waited :D My vehicle replaced my 2003 black Eddie Bauer that had way over 100K miles and was so DEPENDABLE!!!. It still ran like a gem but with all the "new" electronics and Blue Tooth I had to say goodbye to her. The new Expedition is like night and day to my old 2003. It drives and feels like a high end SUV and drives so smooth and quiet. The gas mileage is different too as I've noticed I'm not filling up as much as I did before. I LOVE this car!! I looked at the Chevy, GMC, Porshe, Mercedes and Range Rover and the room didn't compare. The Expedition was the one!!! My daughter hated the Chevy and GMC because she said her legs were unforgettable in the 3rd row. The Range Rover was tight too with not much room. Apparently, there is a slight ledge above the wheel well that is uncomfortable so you can't sprawl out. I couldn't say any more about this car except our family loves it!! Can't wait for more road trips. Thanks FORD!!
I like the lines others call "dated". But the Platinum doesn't sell for $45K as shown in the vid - it's more like $60K+ and that's way too much for what it is. (Large SUVs are high margin cars to begin with - fully spec'd you're paying way way too much). Unfortunately every word you said about the interior is true. Barely felt plastic this flimsy and cheap when I looked at one. Ford needs to seriously step it up in that department. Last point: offer a darn Turbodiesel. Tons of torque, 30+ MPG and most people can't even tell a good Diesel apart anymore they're so smooth and quiet now.
+getdealtwithquick I do think the Expedition is expensive, however a visit to the dealer proved like the F150, dealerships have a lot of room to move these things. I don't agree with your critique of the interior and that any diesel could get 30+ in one of these, an Expedition is heavier than a RAM truck because it has a more substantial frame under it, and the RAM is at best getting 29. I suspect Ford will put a diesel in the next generation, however diesel engines are extremely dirty and if they become more popular expect emissions to get even more stringent on them which may take away the advantages of the higher energy potential of diesel vs. gas.
metal4life Yeah, just disappointing. Especially on a 30k Focus haha and with how cheap LEDs are these days. There is really no excuse for it other than Ford being cheap. I've replaced my under mirror lights and turning lights so far. Still trying to find brake lights that I like.
***** yeah it really is, idk maybe another 10 years everything will finally be LED haha. nice i have a 2000 mustang gt and ive put leds on almost everything but left the taillights stock. i dont think LED tail lights look good on my generation too tacky looking.

the rear they needed to LED out. infact every light needs to be, its 2015. the navi better be...
metal4life Yeah I have an ST and pretty disappointed in how little LED lighting they are using. Especially on a fully loaded one.
***** yeah seriously, well at least there are some good aftermarket LED options these days. can make it look basically as if it were from the factory.

Yeah I got rid of an Audi S5 and 07 Focus ST daily driver for the ST. The S5 broke down too much and my ST blew a piston.
Nice review. Very well done.
Wow 😍
that gut tho
If they would only find a way to put a diesel in it!
No
V8 engine is the best
even though this v6 has more hp & tq , at a lower rpm, than a v8? are you aware that fact?
Ford is gonna bring back the v8 soon you don't buy a suv of this status for fuel economy even the Taurus sho has a v6. God awful
1st.
If I ever get a 2015 Expedition, will be doing some converting the stupid V6 to the ole V8. V6 has no room in the SUV world.
sounds like you haven't driven one. lol. because when you feel 420 lb ft tq at 2400 rpm, you won't being saying that again.
thats really dumb
I rented one and these haul ass with the EcoBoost
