@@vfxpro696 The 1.0 TSI has decent power and torque for highway driving thanks to its turbocharger. I recently drove it fully loaded on a 700km trip with no issues. If you prioritize performance and there's no budget concerns then go for 1.5 TSI which offers even more power and a thrilling driving experience. Do let me know if you want to know anything more about it.
A crazy machine for a 1.0 Litre engine, 1.5 would be even crazier, the handling at high speed is so good, now I understand what a German car stands for.
I saw both the videos they are amazing. Since this is AT (tc) did you use manual mode (peddle shifters) while driving on ghats / did you feel the need to shift on manual please reply
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words. Yes, I did use the manual mode, but only a few times on the ghats. While the car's throttle response was sufficient, I enjoyed the added fun and engagement of shifting gears manually (via paddle shifters) in those sections.
The new platform introduced by Skoda VW India, encompassing models like the Kushaq/Taigun and Slavia/Virtus, has undergone significant localization. This localization effort has resulted in a considerable reduction in maintenance costs, bringing them closer to the levels of Korean and Japanese car manufacturers. I also have a 5-year warranty package with my car, and my first service is scheduled for 15,000 kilometers, while I've only covered 7,000 kilometers so far. Regarding the reliability of the 1.0L TSI engine, it has a proven track record in the automotive industry and is generally considered to be a reliable and efficient engine. 1.0 TSI is in use since a decade, they use this engine in Octavia too in Europe.
