    Great video. I found this a lot more helpful than some other videos I have seen and you are one of only a few I have seen use the terminal. The building mechanics in this game really need improving though as a lot of ideas I have for my camp can't be done. I would love to see more videos like this explaining the different connections such as the counter and traps with how they work.

    • @rotomon
      @rotomon  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      In the end any building game is a learning curve. I genuinely like the challenge of building in 76. The mechanics are definitely a Bethesda thing. I kinda think of building in 76 like one of those slide box picture puzzles. Once you figure out the order of placement you can place most anything where you want it. Some recent changes reduced being able to do some things as easy but most things are place able. My biggest annoyance is seeing something green and it not place. Camp Shelters will free up a lot of annoyances in the near future. If you have any build questions feel free to ask. Even catch a 76 stream on Monday or Tuesday and I can answer them in real time as well as show how to do something.

    • @DeanD1990
      @DeanD1990 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@rotomon Awesome. I don't have a twitch account so I'm not sure if I'll be able to aask questions there but hopefully I'll still be able to view the stream. I've just never been a fan of watching others play live unless it's something like this but maybe I'll get one set up in the near future. I understand what you mean though with the builds as there is more sense of accomplishment when you have completed a build that should exist.

    • @rotomon
      @rotomon  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DeanD1990 I am dual streaming to youtube as well as twitch, Do note I have yet to sort out the delay so If you ask a question Its going to take a bit to respond. Same time same days. I get you. For a lot of people watching streams do not make sense. Because it does initially feel like you are just watching someone play a game. Depending on who you are watching (bigger creators) interaction is almost zero but once you get used to one who will read and react its a different experience.

    Why do you have two connectors for the vendor? Why not just one? If you have one connector on one end for the generator and than in the other end for the wiring of the vendor. You have two connectors connecting into each other which is what I don’t understand Can you explain?

    • @rotomon
      @rotomon  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on how im building. I personally do not like to have wires run across where im walking. for this it was more of a explination with different positioning as everyone builds different. There's a couple ways to do that. Convert a roof to a flat if you have greenhouse one or log cabin one connect then recovert the roof to original . or burn a roof to connect then repair. You can stick conduit connector down (connection node with the connector sticking into the roof) then connect conduit to that and run it in to connect to generator. @@Sandra-tv4kr Ahh once you get the hang of the basics you should be able to accomplish it easily yourself. I have a couple other electrical videos that may be helpful.

    Maybe it's the game's fault but this was useless because it wasn't legit connecting.

      All of this still works It's possible you missed something or if done then added wallpaper you removed connectors. I do have a newer video that should help clear anything up that is difficult to see in this old video.

      @@rotomon ok, at 8:50, i want to do that for my power armor display frame and it require 1 electric, so i have like 5 frame, i install 1 generator outside like you did, and do exactly like you did in 8:50, but it only work for 1 power armor display frame, i attached wire to all display frame, and it doesnt work, so its kinda weird

      @@sussy_61 Small generators produce 3 power, add an additional generator or a larger one. 5 frames would need 5 power.

      @@sussy_61 Yeah, That's always a possibility. Sometimes you can store the item and place it again and then connect it and it will work. But yeah when in doubt restart the game.
