The black screen at 2.09 is the only separation of the economy from premium economy. I think the PE class is a 'johnny come lately' addition to the aircraft. Now if you play PE with Air New Zealand, Singapore Airlines or Turkish Airlines, you are treated as something quite special and the cabins are quite separate. IF you pay extra, you want an extra besides seat and a bit more legroom. Good smooth flight though, better the return leg Frankfurt to Hong Kong that the first leg which was Vancouver to Frankfurt.
Just wondering how old are you? I've never had that much leg room when flying on economy, based on height, shoe size, and hands I'm guessing you're around pre-teen or teen ages
This is a little late but I'm 15 and 5"7 and the leg room is pretty big. For me

I flew on one of these 747-8 for a school trip and it was amazing. They take very good care of you but done of the headphones don't work and the some chargers don't work but I would totally fly with Lufthansa again

Hahaha i love people who complain about everything in economy class. You get what you pay for. This return flight probably cost 400€ so what do you expect.

We flew Premium Economy on 17 August and in Lufthansa, there is just a screen between you and the economy seats. Not really any different than economy apart from a bit more space. The food was okay, nothing to write home about and the staff were typically efficient and only attended to passengers when required. No value added here.
The legroom looks good, but the seat appears to be narrow. Did you find this to be the case?
I noticed the usb output on the Seat monitor. That means you can charge your phone there too?

Yea.. My relatives have been on Lufthansa and they said that their flight was quite smooth-sailing, with no major problems with food. I guess it is just personal preference.
Well of course it is about personal preference but the problem was, except for the taste, if you want a vegetarian sandwich but not like it (that's me) they don't give a normal one even though there is extra. Same for the main course. But the cleanliness is of course perfect.
For me, whatever food that they served towards the passengers, I must consume it even if it has a different taste. There's nothing to worry about the video presentation, it's nice.

We made forward journey from Chennai to Frankfirt and Frankfirt during November 2019 with cheap airfare happy journey. We r waiting for our advance reserved return trip to Chennai. We don't know when it restores flight to Chennai and when the virus restrictions would be removed to go to our native town.

No, the small one was the main touchscreen. Big one was for everybody to see the map. Cause I was in the border line of economy, and seats weren't in the same line, not everybody was going to be able to use the screen. So, as a conclusion, It wasn't for us.

Found it! I went crazy over this tune (first one) today. It was playing in my head but i could not recall where i heard it. I could not work, i badly wanted to find this track. I thought one of the news outlets was using it for n facebook for their short stories. I checked their page as far back as 2011 - and didnt find it. :P

Well I'm not a expert but I am an enthusiast. The lift on the wing helps release stress from the wings. Take that with less than a grain of salt.
I wish I could get the chance to fly in a plane that big, but I guess the 777-300ER is as good as ever...

you had the complications through out the trip the why you chose it.
I didn't have a problem with the airline just the airport at Frankfurt! Rude and the restrooms were a smelly mess! Now Munich is the place! Everything was nice and peaceful.
Oscar Velasquez sorry you had a bad experience at FRA airport.you must of showed up on a bad day for them.i was there at FRA a few days ago to change planes and it all went well.restaurants,employees and restrooms.remember that Germans are not outgoing cheerful people like us Latinos.thats their character.they quiet and reserved.you may be mistaking that for rudeness.better luck if you ever find yourself in beautiful Germany again in future amigo

Lufthansa is a great airline but I'm VERY happy I don't have to fly anymore. Flying is an unpleasant experience these days. The traffic getting to the airport is horrendous. Once inside the airport it's hurry up and wait. There are long lines for everything. To check in. To go to the bathroom. To pass TSA security. Passengers are packed like sardines in fully booked flights. Add a pandemic to the mix and flying becomes downright unbearable. If you have to fly I feel your pain. I'm glad I can watch someone else deal with the hassles of flying from the comforts of home.

The cabin is nice & whatever meal been served, I must consume it precise we pay the exact price of the airfare; by the way, healthy food i.e. vegetables, fruits, root crops & marine product incl. fish, this is my favorite food since I educate to consume this food to become healthy. If I travel farther, I must consume this food what they serve & if falls on Holy Week, I ask the cabin crew that I refrain from consuming meat product so that they can know & for avoiding confusion to them.

Awful legroom in economy on Lufthansa and mediocre food. Their lettuce and awful chocolate cakes are a joke. Frankfurt airport also a mess. You lucked out being in 27G. You must have great connections at Lufthansa to get that VIP seat. The orange juice was fresh? Was it freshly squeezed?

Many of the airlines, KLM, Swiss, Lufthansa etc. are very similar.
My best experiences by far are always with Turkish airlines though.
The worst is Delta. Never Again.

since I work in aviation and know how different nations and airlines approach everything when it comes to handling a flight(loading of the aircraft, security measures, regulations etc etc) I would choose ANY DAY, ANY TIME under ANY circumstances Lufthansa or Swiss Airlines or ANA over for example Turkish or other airlines which have "better" service, food etc. We all like super friendly flight attendants, super food, huge entertainment selection and so on...
But do not forget that security, most serious approach from the ground stuff as well as the crew is way more important then food, entertainment and beautiful attendants :) At least for me...

The Turkish Airlines economy class feels like business class compared to Lufthansa’s I can confirm. The food was way better , the seats the entertainment screen was packed with movies and everything you could think of. Lufthansa looks meh.

Lufthansa provides open drinks to passengers while air Canada provides packed miniatures, soft drink cans, even bottle of wines.
I was really disappointed to find open drinks because that ruins the taste. Moreover the Indian special meals were pathetic, both veg and non veg.
They really need to raise the standards. Plus they don't keep packed wet tissues in toilets. Even eye bands are not for economy passengers which earlier every airlines used to provide.
FA didn't give me the second panini. I stayed hungry... do you think you are at KFC? Why you didn't choose the first class then?
