Billlie is SO solid musically. Every release has no skips, like for real, not because I liked them. They remind people to Red Velvet (and I get that because quality B-sides mixed with fun Kpop concepts) but I think they go beyond, because of the lore and the commitment to having a coherent vision. Billlie isn't a group that changes in every comeback, but also they managed to keep things interesting, intriguing and weird, being fun in the process. Thank you for doing this marathon, and hope you can grab their content in the future, specially for you to catch the lore and that creepiness, but this is already amazing and love your way of reacting to this group and their antics. GingaMingaYo is soooo iconic for them. They gained a ton of fans in that era thanks to Tsuki’s viral fancam (she is the 4/5th gen facial expressions queen). I really hope you can react to their second comeback ‘RING ma Bell’ 😊 also their whole discography is super rich in harmonies and melodies like they are such a unique group with a strong identity. They also have the most complex lore I’ve ever hear of and I still don’t know what’s going on there..but they really commit to it which is fun!!

Thank you for watching Billlie!!! They are truly one of a kind group. They are usually 7 but two (Moon Sua and Suhyeon) are taking breaks for their own personal reasons. They really are an amazing group with an incredible discography and even more incredible girls. Their personalities all shine so bright. Each member has a very long history going from pre debut to now. It really means a lot to see more people finding out about them. Theyre the best!
I know people hate comparing groups for some reason, but I’m gonna say this. I get mad red velvet vibes from them, and this is coming from a die hard revluv. No I DEFINITELY agree. Like, it makes sense that their music has SME vibes as the company is a subsidiary of SME but the red velvet vibes are incredibly strong so I agree with all your reasons. Since fans never mention this- Mystic is known as the artist label aka non idol performers. Billie is essentially backed by in-house musicians/artists and producers. I just think it's a cool fact because it's the reason they were able to bless us with a full on rock song with live instruments.

There is a lot of symbolism in their MVs and lyrics (some of which you picked up on!). The piano intro for GingaMingaYo is the melody from their B side “a sign”. I feel like Billlie are spiritually the little sisters of Red Velvet… vocals are top tier, songs are diverse, MVs are quirky and creepy.

A lot of ppl don't like it that much, which i understand since the sound is very unique and kinda overwhelming if you are not used to that kind of sound, but it has a lot of jpop elements that for me were very familiar but mixed with kpop elements aswell so it tingled all the right spots in my brain haha also, elements from japanese math rock in the instrumental??? HEAVENNNNNN. And creepy nostalgia on top of that??? hell yeah. I support them ever since! Hope they get the recognition they deserve soon enough :) they have some of the best live vocals out there aswell and are INCREDIBLE performers!

Billlie very quickly shot up to my top three girl groups when i discovered them. RING X RING and Gingamingayo are two of my favorite kpop songs like... ever. Their sound is soooo unique! I'm glad you like them!
Billlie's albums are SO good, like they're one of the few groups with unskippable b-sides. I really recommend checking out their other songs! :) Also they released a single "Snowy Night" (it has a cute Christmas/winter themed MV) in winter 2021 and it's SO GOOD, I really recommend giving it a watch! It has some slow jazz vibes, and the harmonies are beautiful. And their summer single "Patbingsu" is an absolute BOP. 💜

They are probably in my top favorite fourth gen gg. Ring my Bell is my favorite title track but if you love their title tracks their b songs are top tier
as a huge stay, i'm also a fan of this group because they're one of the groups that has really good sidetracks, i recommend you to try listening to these songs, i bet you like them as i do - flipping a coin - the rumor - a sign anonymous - nevertheless especially a whole album of Chapter 2 (i don't quite like the title song of this album but sidetracks are all sooo good

I’m a Billlie pre debut stan but they have a complicated lore and its deep. Also i mean no disrespect to other girl groups in the 4th gen era but Billlie is THE best dancing girl group out of the 4th gen era. I say this coz they trained by 1 million dance studios, they can do very hard ridge choreography with ease. Basically boy group style choreography and still not b tired. Also billlie has 2 main rappers, 2 main vocalist, and 2 main dancers. To put it simply, Billlie thats refer to in their lore is a girl that the 7 girls made friends with and is basically the 8th member to their group so to speak. One day billlie disappeared without a trace and somehow the girls are responsible for it which is y u see police sirens at the end of eunoia. There is more to this lore that we really cant comprehend but thats the basic version of it
Please listen to their b-sides. I don't even stan them but I've been a casual listener since their debut. Recommendations: flipping a coin, everybody's got a secret, brave (a song for matilda), nevertheless, enchanted night, a sign (anonymous), overlap, my B = birth of emotion

A lot of ppl don't like it that much, which i understand since the sound is very unique and kinda overwhelming if you are not used to that kind of sound, but it has a lot of jpop elements that for me were very familiar but mixed with kpop elements aswell so it tingled all the right spots in my brain haha also, elements from japanese math rock in the instrumental??? HEAVENNNNNN. And creepy nostalgia on top of that??? hell yeah. I support them ever since! Hope they get the recognition they deserve soon enough :) they have some of the best live vocals out there aswell and are INCREDIBLE performers!

Billlie very quickly shot up to my top three girl groups when i discovered them. RING X RING and Gingamingayo are two of my favorite kpop songs like... ever. Their sound is soooo unique! I'm glad you like them!
Billlie's albums are SO good, like they're one of the few groups with unskippable b-sides. I really recommend checking out their other songs! :)
Also they released a single "Snowy Night" (it has a cute Christmas/winter themed MV) in winter 2021 and it's SO GOOD, I really recommend giving it a watch! It has some slow jazz vibes, and the harmonies are beautiful. And their summer single "Patbingsu" is an absolute BOP. 💜

For your information so you know, they debuted with 6 members and they added suyeon in gingamingayo and they are 7, but this year 2 members went hiatus for health problems (Moon sua and Suhyeon) and they have released some songs as 5 members

tbh I think you would like their bsides a lot! eunoia the second video you reacted too has a small film called white night which goes along with it :) lso the lore is like heavy in the bsides too which is super cool
and just some small things they're seven members, hocus pocus has 5 of them, and doesn't technically follow the lore, since two members are on hiatus right now, and ring x ring is actually their debut song!, and they introduced their seventh member in gingamingayo, and their company is actually a subsidiary of sm and they're all really talented girls I hope you'll get to check out more of their stuff

I’m a Billlie pre debut stan but they have a complicated lore and its deep. Also i mean no disrespect to other girl groups in the 4th gen era but Billlie is THE best dancing girl group out of the 4th gen era. I say this coz they trained by 1 million dance studios, they can do very hard ridge choreography with ease. Basically boy group style choreography and still not b tired. Also billlie has 2 main rappers, 2 main vocalist, and 2 main dancers.
To put it simply, Billlie thats refer to in their lore is a girl that the 7 girls made friends with and is basically the 8th member to their group so to speak. One day billlie disappeared without a trace and somehow the girls are responsible for it which is y u see police sirens at the end of eunoia. There is more to this lore that we really cant comprehend but thats the basic version of it
I literally just started diving into (and having on repeat) Billlie last week! SO glad to see this marathon reaction to them from my reactor!
