So, here's a thought: maybe police, the public, and public officials should maybe thicken their skin, set aside their ego, take responsibility for their words/actions, and detach emotionally if they believe people with a camera are trying to "get a rise out of them". The officer did a great job handling the situation but it’s still off putting when the say “unfortunately there’s nothing we can do…” They should be saying by law there’s nothing I/we can do” or “In this case it doesn’t qualify as an offense.” Saying unfortunately makes it seem like they’re disappointed they’re not able to punish you.
So refreshing to see a intelligent and respectful officer who respects and knows the law. This country would be so much better if we had more police officers like them
...and far less cops overall.

I've never heard one officer say they were a constitutionalist until today. Every officer that swore their oath is a constitutionalist but most want it subverted. It was nice to see one officer basically say he's proud of what he does and loyal to his oath. All other officers are inferior.

@Hawxxy, For the most part this needs to be a dispatch issue so it never gets to the police officers. Police have their time wasted by far too many 9-11 calls exactly like this, the 9-11 or other dispatchers need to just say "are you in a public place?" If the answer is yes, the dispatch needs to just tell them not to ever call 9-11 unless it is an actual emergency, and threaten them with a fine if they do it again, and then hang up on them.

I think the Constitutional points he makes are great, but there are times he takes it someplace it didn’t need to go. Actually it’s not constitutional it’s a Supreme Court ruling about privacy and property it defined what was public and what expectation of privacy on private property and what public property is and how the laws work for privacy in public

I like what you guys do but I'm not a fan of how you BEGIN the conversation with a lot of people. I'd imagine that a lot of the people asking what you're up to are only doing so because it's not ordinary or expected to walk up to a mailing centre and have two people with somewhat professional camera gear just standing outside filming. A lot of them probably think it might be for TV or something, and this whole standoff-ish approach of asking them what they're doing is catching people by surprise and comes across as rude and weird. I get they have no RIGHT to know, but I don't think most people are asking because they believe they have a right to know, they're asking out of basic human curiosity and just to have a conversation. If this is all about raising awareness of people's rights, think you should tweak it a little bit and just say you're out exercising your right to film and leave it at that. That little bit of extra info would probably garner a lot more support from the community as opposed to this passive aggressive approach of giving zero info whatsoever. I'm a huge advocate of people out exercising their rights, but if I walked into my local mail centre and saw this, I wouldn't think it was someone exercising their rights, and I'd probably get annoyed if I asked what they were up to (in a positive manner) and was met with that attitude. Don't think it helps and don't think it illustrates the point you're trying to make.

She was but it’s pathetic how people in the auditing community sit around making fun of peoples looks now. Like, how ugly must you be in real life to write a comment like “look at that fat old heffalump at the desk!”. The juvenile projection ruins so many channels. Feels like I’m in junior high sometimes. And I like this guy, and am fine with everything he does so far, I thought the conversation with the police in this was perfect. That is EXACTLY what I want to happen, and why I’m happy people are out there, like this man, getting cops to adhere to the law. Even better he was with a trainee who got to see the correct way to do it. But making fun of some girls butt, and doing it just to show “look how popular I am, everyone will laugh at your looks”, is pathetic. You never see good looking people resort to that. I am sure they had a rough time in junior high, and I genuinely feel sorry for them, but get over it. Instead these communities turn into the ugly kids from junior high, hiding behind their keyboards and ganging up on people who didn’t ask to be in this situation. I understand why they get superficial in the videos, they are are angry, they don’t have time to think up the perfect response, it's normal to say things you wish you had handled differently, but these comment sections have no excuse. It’s just pathetic. This is a good channel, and I would hate to see it get ruined, like so many others, with TH-cam drama. If all people want to do is call strangers ugly to make themselves feel better, just go start a different community and do it there. I think Jake Paul does that kind of thing. And I apologize to the original commenter who I am responding to, you didn’t do anything wrong, it's not even addressed at you really, I just wanted this to be seen because I’m so tired of it. I honestly support what you guys are doing and enjoy the videos, however I will say you can come off as condescending at times to people for asking questions. Some people are genuinely interested in what you’re doing, but the way you reply puts them off. Some people are just nervous because of the world we live in as far as exploitation on the internet, being wary of traffickers, the list goes on and on. If you always had just said making travel videos I think it would appease most people and many of the negative interactions wouldn’t happen. I feel like this girl came out being just genuinely interested but you replied in a condescending way. She also was funny I think in her replies. The worst part was insulting her, there was absolutely no need for that. Men have no clue what women go through with their bodies, nor does anyone have the right to tell us what and what not to wear. I’ve heard a lot of comments from you that can be interpreted negatively towards women (such as going into stores with husbands and you say the wife will basically empty his bank account: or “get out your wallet buddy” like the women can’t be the ones making the money. I really am trying to continue to like and support what you do but I don’t feel you are always respectful to others. Police aren’t all tyrants and by refusing to just answer questions even in just a small way like “making a travel video” “teaching my son some things in photography” whatever leads to escalations in the scenario.
I find a lot of what you say interesting and intelligent, I also see things that escalate situations and are definitely off putting to others.
Insulting this woman for nothing definitely was uncalled for. She was at first trying to have fun with the situation, maybe just seeing you as having a dry sense of humor, until you chose to insult her. She’s beautiful and no one dictates what pants we wear at what age.
This isn't a man or a woman thing tho, no one can entirely put themselves in another persons shoes. Its just a general rule of thumb to say body shaming isn't cool. Can enjoy his videos demeanor and wit and still disagree with immature stuff like that.

Personally, i would rather she had no clothes on, but someone determined that is against the law, yet if you "feel" a certain way about what someone is doing in "public", that automatically allows you to call an organization of armed men & woman to come to you and possibly physically lock you up in a cage for doing absolutely nothing illegal.
