This song reminds me of my struggles with my mom and family when they found out I dated white guys. I got so much grief about not dating in my race. Now I have one cousin married to a middle eastern woman and another married to a Hispanic man and none of them were told boo about it. Call me MLK because I had to take one for the other cousins.
I really love this version. It's more studio perfected and includes background vocals. Love Monica Arnold's music, she has a very soulful voice..love the movie too. Chris Kane is funny and cute in his boyfriend/musician role here. A long ways from "Just Married" when he played Brittney Murphy's ex-boyfriend, Peter. Good character contrasts.

It was an ok album nothing to say,wow about.The cd also had Im too hood for you by her and Jermaine Dupri. It was revamped into the After the Storm cd. Some of the cuts are on there of the All Eyez on Me album.

The only way I could get this on DVD was from someone who taped it from Lifetime. Of course lifetime put all this caption and stuff on the bottom about other shows. Without all this crap you have to buy it on VHS. That really sucks
